Abstract: An image correction method of projector and an image correction system are provided. An image capturing apparatus shoots a physical calibration panel to obtain a first image, and shoots an outputting image of a calibration panel pattern on a projection screen outputted from the projector to obtain a second image. A processor analyzes the first image to obtain a first calibration parameter and a first homography matrix, and performs an undistorting operation for the second image based on the first calibration parameter to obtain a third image. The processor analyzes the third image to obtain a second calibration parameter and a second homography matrix of the projector. The processor performs a compensating operation for an original image to be outputted from the projector based on the second calibration parameter, the second homography matrix and the first homography matrix to obtain a compensated image.

Abstract: An ultraviolet sensor comprises a glass substrate, a semiconductor structure, an electrode layer and a thin film metallic glass. The semiconductor structure comprises a semiconductor seed layer formed on the glass substrate and a plurality of semiconductor nanostructures formed on the semiconductor seed layer. The electrode layer is formed between the semiconductor seed layer and the plurality of semiconductor nanostructures. Abstract: A method for three-dimensional data acquisition, adapted to acquire three-dimensional data of an object, includes the following steps. A laser light is projected onto a plurality of regions on the surface of the object so as to form a plurality of features within each of the regions. For each of the regions, the object and the features are captured from a first direction and a second direction simultaneously so as to generate a first object image corresponding to the first direction and a second object image corresponding to the second direction. For each of the regions, the first object image and the second object image are processed so as to obtain the two-dimensional coordinates of the features therein. The three-dimensional data of the object is obtained according to the two-dimensional data of the features in the first object image and the second object image corresponding to each of the regions.

Abstract: A method of photo-curing a photo-sensitive resin is disclosed in the present invention. Abstract: An impedance matching circuit is disclosed. The impedance matching circuit adapted to an antenna includes a signal feed-in line, a phase delay line and a synthesized transmission line. The signal feed-in line receives an input signal from a wireless transceiver circuit. The phase delay line is electrically coupled between the antenna and the signal feed-in line, and delivers the input signal from the wireless transceiver circuit to the antenna. A first terminal of the synthesized transmission is electrically coupled to the signal feed-in line and the phase delay line. A second terminal of the synthesized transmission is configured to be opened. Based on the antenna operates in a first transmission medium or a second transmission medium, the input signal is transmitted to the antenna through different patterns selectively.

Abstract: A contactless detection method with noise elimination is applied to measuring the information of physiological and physical activities. It includes following steps: sensing a human body to generate an image by an image sensor; capturing a physiological signal from the image; tracing a feature point of the human body in the image to generate a physical activity signal; and calculating information of physical activities covering step count, speed and calories according to the physical activity signal and the physiological signal. In particular, the contactless detection method treats the physiological signal cooperated with the physical activity signal to separate a noise from the physiological signal, so as to generate an ideal physiological signal. Therefore, the physiological information is calculated more accurately according to the ideal physiological signal.

Abstract: A sky luminance mapping system includes a camera unit, two pyranometer units and a processing unit. Camera unit includes a fisheye lens to shoot image of sky dome and is equipped with light-shading devices which block the sun from the camera unit corresponding to instant location of the sun at instant time. First pyranometer unit measures daylight illuminance from the sky dome and outputs first intensity signal while the light-shading device is applied to block the sun. Second pyranometer unit measures daylight illuminance from the sky dome and outputs second intensity signal without blocking the sun. A reference intensity value is obtained by subtracting a value of the first intensity signal from a value of the second intensity signal. According to the value of the first intensity signal and the reference intensity value, a total luminance of and the luminance distribution in the image of the sky dome are corrected.

Abstract: A method for fabricating a light emitting module that generates ultrabroadband near-infrared light and increasing the output power. The light emitting module includes a linearly polarized laser pump for generating a visible laser, a half-wave plate for adjusting the polarization orientation of the visible laser, and a crystal optical fiber disposed on the output light path of the half-wave plate. The core of the crystal optical fiber is made of forsterite (Mg2SiO4) doped with Cr3+ and Cr4+ ions. The doping process includes: depositing a chromium oxide layer on the lateral surface of the core and driving the chromium atoms into the core by high temperature diffusion; coupling the visible laser into the core to produce a spontaneous emission with wavelengths from 750 to 1350 nm continuously. Particularly, the continuous spectrum is adjustable by changing the polarization orientation of the visible laser via the half-wave plate.

Abstract: This invention discloses a method for the fabrication of GaN-based vertical cavity surface-emitting devices featuring a silicon-diffusion defined current blocking layer (CBL). Such devices include vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) and resonant-cavity light-emitting diode (RCLED). The silicon-diffused P-type GaN region can be converted into N-type GaN and thereby attaining a current blocking effect under reverse bias. And the surface of the silicon-diffused area is flat so the thickness of subsequent optical coating is uniform across the emitting aperture. Thus, this method effectively reduces the optical-mode field diameter of the device, significantly decreases the spectral width of LED, and produces single-mode emission of VCSEL.
