  • Patent number: 5054524
Abstract: A solid-color weave pattern belt comprising a weave in which warps are arranged at such a high density that wefts are substantially hidden behind the warps. The weave comprises a 2/2 twill weave having four warp threading phases with warp threading arrangement units selected from three kinds of units formed by omitting one to three warp threading phases from the four warp threading phases. A plurality of at least one warp threading arrangement units are successively adjacent to each other, thereby forming an uneven weave pattern of wefts substantially hidden behind the warps on the surface of the belt.

  • Patent number: 4664414
Abstract: An automatic latch device for a runner member used in an automatic seat belt system includes a restraining member movably mounted to the runner member and provided with a restraining portion for meshing with a brake member provided on a vehicle body. The restraining member is moved to a non-meshing position by a drive force of a driving member, which is operatively connected to the restraining member, for driving the runner member between a seat occupant restraining position and a seat occupant liberating position, whereby the coupling between the runner member and the brake member may be automatically released substantially simultaneously with the start of the driving of the driving member without needing to move the brake member.

  • Patent number: 4621702
Abstract: In a four-wheel steering apparatus of a vehicle for steering also the rear wheels in conformity with the steering of the front wheels by a steering wheel, a control force for a rear wheel steering device is mechanically taken out from a front wheel steering device and is suitably controlled in the intermediate portion and is transmitted as a steering control force to the rear wheel steering device, whereby the front wheels and the rear wheels are steered in the same direction when the absolute value of the steering angle of the front wheels is less than a predetermined value, and the rear wheels are steered in the direction reverse to the front wheels when the absolute value is greater than the predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 4598914
Abstract: Sealing and bearing means by use of ferrofluid, in which a magnet is utilized effectively in cooperation with grooves engraved on one surface thereof, the grooves having the function for generating the dynamic pressure of the ferrofluid. The ferrofluid is retained in a gap between a rotary shaft and a magnet of cylindrical or disc type enclosing the rotary shaft concentrically. The magnet performs excellent two functions of bearing and sealing respectively.

  • Patent number: 4007630
Abstract: There is disclosed a device for detecting damage on rotators or rotary bodies such as for example ball bearings having rolling elements. A mechanical vibration or sound produced periodically due to damage on the rotator when it is rotated is converted into an electric signal. In order to identify such damage on the rotator by utilizing the periodic characteristic of said electric signal, a peak detector is provided for detecting a peak value of said electric signal, holding the detected peak value for a fixed period, and being reset to a base level by a reset signal.
