  • Patent number: 4232588
Abstract: An electronically controlled pipe fracture safety device for operating devices which are fed by a hydraulic pump and which are actuated by a control slide value by means of hydraulic cylinders. Control lines branch off from lines which lead from the hydraulic pump via a control slide valve to the hydraulic cylinders, the control lines feeding the hydraulic medium to a differential flow monitor, on the piston of which a permanent magnet is fastened. The latter, by means of a reed contact as a result of a pressure difference existing between the control lines, which pressure difference is brought about by damage or fracture of a line, produces a signal in the NOR gate, the latter forming the input of a scoring logic. This signal retransmits a self-holding signal to NAND-gates which form a flip-flop. The self-holding signal causes deenergization of a relay and consequently an interruption of the current flow to the control slide valve and brings about the locking position of the latter.

  • Patent number: 4206708
Abstract: A transportation system includes pallet cars coupled with one another; the pallet cars being for the positive non-slipping transportation of baggage conveyor cars for escalators. On the lower side of the pallet cars, arc-shaped drivers are pivotably mounted about one of the carrying axles constituting a pivot point, by means of a bracket. The drivers are supported on a track via a roller secured at a pivot point on the driver such that during the transportation operation the driver projects through a slot in the pallet car and engages in back of a catch which is secured at the bottom of the baggage conveyor car. Shortly before reaching the horizontal part of the transportation system the driver disengages from the catch of the baggage conveyor car.

  • Patent number: 4203238
Abstract: A rapid-change device for attachments on earth moving machines for connection between a lift chassis, which is hydraulically actuated from the carrier vehicle, and an attachment implement, for instance a loading shovel, by means of holding claws and locking latches. The locking latches are pivotally mounted on the outer periphery of hubs which are fixed on stay arms. The lift arms of the lift chassis are coaxially pivotally mounted in bores of the hubs. The stay arms are provided with holding claws having semicircular recesses which are adapted to receive holding bolts of the loading shovel. The center points of the semicircular recesses of the holding claws and the pivot points of the locking latches are coordinated with respect to each other such that the line of action of the reaction forces which are introduced by the loading shovel extends through the pivot points for the locking latches and through the center points of the recesses or above the center points of the recesses.

  • Patent number: 4199038
Abstract: A steering gear with steering drop arm, steering tie rod and steering gear connecting tie rod for a vehicle, which is drivable on wheels on the road and terrain, with a steering mechanism which is actuated selectively hydraulically supported mechanically or purely hydraulically by means of hydraulic cylinders and electromagnetic valves, whereby changing from the hydraulically supported system to the purely hydraulically operating system is by means of a selective connection of a universal shaft, which is connected with the steering wheel, with one of the two systems which serve the actuation of the steering mechanism. A hydraulic pump, driven by a drive motor, and acting on both systems, is connected with a first control valve via a line, a flow control- and pressure limit- valve and a line. On the one hand a line leads from the first control valve to a steering transmission, the latter being actuated by the steering gear by means of universal shaft.
