  • Patent number: 11840420
Abstract: Techniques are directed to a method and a device for monitoring a yarn tension of a running yarn in a yarn treatment process. To this end, the yarn tension of the yarn is continuously measured and the measurement signals for the yarn tension are compared with a threshold value of an admissible yarn tension. In the event of an inadmissible tolerance deviation of the measurement signals, a short-term signal path of the yarn tension is detected as a fault graph. In order to enable a fault diagnosis, the fault graph of the yarn tension is analyzed using a machine learning program. The fault graph is then allocated to one of the existing fault categories or to a new fault category. A device for this purpose may include a diagnosis unit, which cooperates accordingly with the yarn tension evaluation unit.

  • Patent number: 11597624
Abstract: Techniques involve texturing a synthetic thread. The thread is pulled off a feed bobbin, which is connected via the thread end thereof to a beginning of a thread of a reserve bobbin by way of a thread knot. In order to monitor the texturing, a thread tension of the thread is measured and analyzed in a measuring point. Additionally, measuring signals of the thread tension are analyzed at the measuring point using a machine learning program, in order to identify the thread knot. To this end, a device has a diagnostic unit, which interacts with the thread tension measuring device in such a way that the measuring signals of the thread tension can be analyzed by way of a machine learning program for identifying a thread knot.

  • Patent number: 11591719
Abstract: A plurality of colored filament bundles are initially extruded separately, cooled and each combined into a partial thread. The partial threads are then separately pre-swirled and stretched individually or as a partial composite thread formed from a plurality of partial threads. Crimping then occurs. After the crimping, the partial threads and the partial composite thread are combined into a composite thread and wound into a coil. In accordance with certain techniques, a melt spinning apparatus has a pre-swirling apparatus having a plurality of swirling nozzles, a post-swirling device having a plurality of post-swirling nozzles and a crimping device having a plurality of texturing nozzles, wherein the nozzles are designed such that an individual partial thread or a partial composite thread formed from a plurality of partial threads can optionally be processed.

  • Patent number: 11117303
Abstract: Techniques are directed to melt spinning, drawing, crimping and winding multiple threads. The threads are spun from a plurality of spinnerets of a spinning device and are drawn as a thread group by a drawing device and are subsequently fed for crimping next to one another to a plurality of texturing units. In order to obtain identical treatment of all threads within the thread group, the threads are guided individually with a plurality of wraps next to one another on a godet unit and, after running off from the godet unit, are guided in a straight thread run parallel next to one another into the texturing units. To this end, adjacent texturing units of the crimping device form a treatment spacing between themselves which is such that, in the case of being guided individually with a plurality of wraps on the godet unit, the threads can be guided in parallel in a straight thread run.

  • Patent number: 10801130
Abstract: Techniques for melt spinning and cooling of multifilament polyamide threads are described. The process involves multiple filament bundles spun alongside one another and cooled down separately by streams of cooling air flowing radially from the outside to the inside. Streams of cooling air are produced from a blowing chamber connected to a pressure source. Exhaust gases that occur during the spinning are removed through exhaust openings before the cooling of the filament bundles. An air pressure is set within the blowing chamber in such a way that the exhaust gases in the vicinity of the filament bundles are blown out through the exhaust openings from the inside outwards. A blowing box is assigned a pressure setting means for setting an air pressure within the blowing chamber, by which an air pressure for blowing out the exhaust gases can be set at the exhaust openings of a connection adapter.

  • Patent number: 10407800
Abstract: Techniques produce a multifilament thread from a polyamide melt. In this case, freshly extruded filaments are cooled and combined to form a thread. In order, in addition to low boil-off shrinkage, to achieve high strength, the thread is taken off at a take-off rate in the range from 3600 m/min to 4600 m/min, preferably from 4000 m/min to 4400 m/min, by a first godet group having unheated guide casings. Subsequently, the thread is fully drawn between the first godet group and a second godet group having heated guide casings. After drawing, the thread is heated to a thread temperature in the range from 140° C. to 200° C. under tension at the guide casings of the second godet group and relaxed. After relaxing, the thread runs in a contact-free manner through at least one free cooling section between the second godet group and a third godet group having unheated guide casings.

  • Patent number: 10072363
Abstract: The invention relates to a cooling drum for cooling a thread plug in texturing process. The cooling drum comprises a drivable cooling jacket, on the circumference of which at least one air-permeable guide track is designed for guiding the thread plug. A suction chamber is provided in the interior of the cooling jacket, which chamber is connected via a suction connection to a vacuum source. In this way, a stationary shielding means is provided, which is arranged between the cooling jacket and the suction chamber. In order to produce a suction flow which is as targeted as possible and affected by little loss, according to the invention, the shielding means is formed by a closed sealing jacket which is placed substantially coaxially spaced apart with the cooling jacket and has an air slot in the region of the guide track.
