Abstract: To provide an encoding method for reducing deterioration in encoding efficiency when encoding a video/an image by selecting one operation mode out of a number of operation modes. The encoding method includes: extracting one or more features from one or more reconstructed pixel groups; categorizing the one or more reconstructed pixel groups using the extracted one or more features and a first machine learning model; and performing an encoding process on a current block of image samples included in a current picture using a parameter set corresponding to a result of the categorizing, the parameter set being one of a plurality of predefined parameter sets.
Abstract: A prepreg includes a resin composition or a semi-cured product of the resin composition, and a glass cloth, wherein the resin composition contains a modified polyphenylene ether compound terminally modified with a substituent having an unsaturated carbon-carbon double bond, and a crosslinkable curing agent having an unsaturated carbon-carbon double bond in a molecule, a content of the modified polyphenylene ether compound is 40 to 90 mass % with respect to a total mass of the modified polyphenylene ether compound and the crosslinkable curing agent, a cured product of the resin composition has a relative permittivity of 2.6 to 3.8, the glass cloth has a relative permittivity of 4.7 or less and a dielectric loss tangent of 0.0033 or less, and a cured product of the prepreg has a relative permittivity of 2.7 to 3.8 and a dielectric loss tangent of 0.002 or less.

Abstract: A pedestrian terminal transmits a message including pedestrian information to a roadside machine from an ITS communicator. In a case where the message transmitted from the pedestrian terminal is received by an ITS communicator, the roadside machine accumulates the pedestrian information included in the message in a storage as passage history information and a controller generates path guidance information related to an evacuation path at a time of occurrence of a disaster based on the passage history information of the storage. Particularly, a care-needed person such as an aged person or a person frequently performing a dangerous behavior is detected, and the path guidance information for the person is generated. The message including the path guidance information is transmitted to the pedestrian terminal present nearby.
Abstract: A receiving unit receives an execution request for an internal application from an external device. A determining unit determines whether the external device that has transmitted the execution request is set as a communication target of the internal application for which the execution request has been received. If it has been determined that the external device is set as the communication target, a verifying unit verifies a version of the external application executed in the external device. If the verified version is no earlier than a threshold, an execution controlling unit executes the internal application. If the verified version is older than the threshold, an informing unit issues a warning.
