The pharmaceuticals are delivered using a matrix of a lecithin gel such as a lecithin organogel. A number of psychopharmaceuticals can be used including fluoxetine, sertraline, carbamazepine, paroxetine, amitriptyline, trazadone, venlafaxine, propranolol, buproprion, valproic acid, nefazodone, ketoprofen, gabapentin, piroxican, doxepin, guaifenesin, pemoline and doxepin and combinations.
