    Abstract: A polymer solar cell including a cathode buffer layer (CBL) is proposed. the CBL may include a reaction product between a conjugate polymer electrolyte and an acid derivative, the conjugate polymer electrolyte is poly [(9,9-bis 3?-(N,N-dimethylamino) propyl)-2,7-fluorene)-alt-2,7-(9,9-dihexylfluorene)] (PFN), and the acid derivative is trifluoroacetic acid (CF3AA), 4-trifluoromethyl benzoic acid (CF3BA), or 4-toluene sulfonic acid (TsOH). The CBL including the conjugate polymer electrolyte (PFN) modified with a specific acid derivative may improve short-circuit current (Jsc) and a filling factor (FF) simultaneously, and thus, significantly improved efficiency is exhibited.

    Abstract: An object of the present disclosure is to provide a composition for preventing or treating obesity comprising a substance isolated from poly-?-glutamic acid (?-PGA) as an active ingredient. According to the present disclosure, it was confirmed that ?-PGAbm or ?-PGAcm, a substance isolated from ?-PGA, suppressed the expression of adipogenic marker genes in 3T3-L1 cells to reduce accumulation of lipid droplets and triglycerides, and suppressed the expression of cell cycle regulators in the early stage of adipogenesis to reduce adipocyte differentiation. In addition, ?-PGAbm or ?-PGAcm has been confirmed to suppress obesity through weight loss, positive changes in glucose and insulin resistance, reduction of epididymal adipocytes, and suppression of adipogenesis, and thus may be used effectively for related businesses.

    Abstract: Proposed is a method of manufacturing a PTC heating element, the method including: (a) preparing a mixed powder of a polymer powder and a carbon nanotube-containing powder, (b) forming the mixed powder into a pellet-shaped body, and (c) extruding the pellet-shaped body to produce a wire-type heating element. A PTC heating element manufactured by the method is also proposed. The PTC heating element manufactured by the method has better thermal conductivity than existing PTC heating elements, so that the PTC heating element exhibits a quick temperature rise within a short time, resulting in a reduction in power consumption. In particular, when the PTC heating element is used as a heating element for car seat heaters and steering wheel heaters in electric vehicles, battery consumption may be dramatically reduced, contributing to an increase in the driving mileage of the electric vehicles.
