Abstract: An exterior rearview mirror for motor vehicles has a mirror arm and a mirror housing connected to the mirror arm so as to foldable about a pivot axis relative to the mirror arm. A support plate is mounted in the mirror housing. A mirror pane is attached to the support plate so as to face outwardly relative to the mirror housing. An adjusting device for adjusting a position of the mirror pane from the interior of the motor vehicle is provided. The adjusting device includes a first adjusting member accessible from the interior of the motor vehicle. The adjusting device includes a second adjusting member mounted within the housing. The first and second adjusting members are connected to one another so as to be pivotable about a common axis. The common axis coincides substantially with the pivot axis of the housing.
Abstract: A tail light assembly for a motor vehicle, including a rear light, a brake light, and a turn signal light, wherein at least one of the rear light, the brake light, and the turn signal light is comprised of LEDs, has a control device for operating the LEDs at a constant current for a given voltage range.
Abstract: An exterior rearview mirror for a motor vehicle has a mirror support and a mirror housing connected with a first end to the mirror support. The mirror housing has a holder for a mirror pane. A turn signal light is positioned in the mirror housing. At least one first receiver for receiving remote control signals is also positioned within the mirror housing.
Abstract: A vehicle taillight has a housing and a light-transmissive cover for closing off the housing. At least one light source is located within the housing for emitting light through the light-transmissive cover. At least one light-guiding member is positioned within the housing between the light source and the light-transmissive cover. The light-guiding member consists of light guide material and reflects light emitted by the light source onto the light-transmissive cover.

Abstract: The optical receiving body for at least one LED has an optical member with a receiving chamber for receiving the at least one LED. The LED emits light in a main direction of light emission. The receiving chamber has an inner wall with a parabolic wall section. The parabolic wall section is a first reflective surface for light beams emitted by the at least one LED. The exterior surface of the optical member is provided with at least one second reflective surface.
Abstract: An interior rearview mirror for motorized vehicle has a mirror support and a mirror housing pivotably connected to the mirror support. A mirror glass is mounted in the mirror housing. A part of a garage door opener is mounted within the mirror housing.
Abstract: An external rearview mirror for motor vehicle has a housing and a mirror support plate connected in the housing so as to be pivotable about two axes perpendicular to one another. A pivot joint is connected to the mirror support plate for pivoting the mirror support plate. An actuating lever for pivoting the mirror support plate is provided. Two push rods are pivotably connected with a first end to the mirror support plate at a distance from the pivot joint. An intermediate lever is pivotably connected to the actuating lever and to the push rods. The intermediate lever has a transverse rod with two ends in the form of bearing balls. The push rods have at a second end thereof a bearing cup, wherein each bearing ball of the transverse rod rests in one of the bearing cups.
Abstract: An interior rearview mirror for a vehicle. The mirror includes a mirror bracket that by means of a ball-and-socket joint carries a mirror housing that is provided with a mirror glass mounted on a glass carrier that together with the housing can be shifted between a first position and a second position by a knob. The glass carrier is pivotably connected to a support, and a swivel plate is fixedly connected to the knob. A guide pin is disposed on the swivel plate and engages a guide of the support for interconnecting the support and the swivel plate. A stop is disposed on the swivel plate and in one of the positions of the glass carrier rests against the outer surface of the guide.
Abstract: A light assembly for a motor vehicle has a housing and a transparent plate closing off the housing. At least one light-emitting device is positioned in the housing for illuminating the transparent plate. At least one main reflector is positioned in the housing for reflecting light emitted by the light-emitting device to the transparent plate. A prism is positioned in the housing so as to be placed at least partially in the path of the light emitted by the light-emitting device, whereby the prism reflects the light impinging thereon to the main reflector so as to be reflected onto the transparent plate.
Abstract: An exterior rearview mirror for motor vehicles has a support member for connecting the rearview mirror to the motor vehicle. A mirror housing is connected to the support member and has a mirror support connected inside the mirror housing. The mirror support has a frontal opening for a mirror. The mirror housing together with the mirror support is pivotable relative to the support member from a position of use into a rest position. The support member is hollow and has a receiving element extending into the interior of the motor vehicle. In the rest position the mirror housing together with the mirror support is substantially folded into the support member.
Abstract: An interior rearview mirror for a motorized vehicle has a mirror housing with a mirror member and a mirror support connected to the mirror housing. At least one sensor for sensing solar radiation entering the interior of the motorized vehicle through the windshield is provided. The sensor is coupled to the control unit of an air conditioning device of the motorized vehicle.
Abstract: A distance sensing device for a motor vehicle, positioned at the rear of the motor vehicle, for sensing a distance to an obstacle to the rear of the motor vehicle, has a brake light unit positioned in the interior of the motor vehicle at the rear window. At least one sensor for sensing the distance is provided. An optical display unit located within the brake light unit is provided, and the at least one sensor is connected to the optical display unit.
