  • Patent number: 4113129
Abstract: A blow-molded thermoplastic container for storing and dispensing sterile liquids that is designed to be filled with a sterile liquid during the blow-molding having a first penetrably sealed threaded neck, a second penetrably sealed neck in an aperture near the base of the container and a plug designed to fit into the second neck after it has been penetrated. • Patent number: 4110419
Abstract: A cartridge-type humidifier apparatus embodying a separate heater module with a cylindrical opening for replaceably receiving therein disposable cylindrical humidifier cartridge modules. Certain upgraded embodiments of the cartridge modules are sterilizable and reusable several times before being disposed of, or portions thereof recycled. The cartridge modules each have a tubular metal main body adapted for a sliding fit within a complementary tubular walled heater. The metal tubular body has rigid plastic top and bottom end portions. The plastic top end portion is a cap with a center axial gas inlet tube, and a separate transverse gas delivery pipe, the cap forming a closed air space over a pool of humidifying liquid. Each cartridge includes an absorption column preferably of the cylindrical tube form which is adapted to lay closely adjacent and draw water up along the cartridge's cylindrical metal body wall which serves the evaporating surface when heated by the heater modules.

  • Patent number: 3977553
Abstract: There is disclosed herein a method for blow molding a bottle, for instance, from a tube of thermoplastic material. The method includes filling such a container, if desired, with a fluid prior to sealing of the bottle. The bottle has at least one orifice which may be sealed with an integral membrane and a further protective cap is integrally molded with the bottle. Apparatus is also disclosed for molding, filling and sealing such bottles in one operation from a tube a thermoplastic material which has relatively movable mold parts.

  • Patent number: 3965902
Abstract: There is disclosed a suction operated body fluid collection bottle having cylindrical portion terminating in a dome-shaped portion. An opening is positioned centrally with respect to said dome. The sides of the opening are arranged to accept a screw cap closure. The said closure has an upwardly standing nipple arranged to be attached to a suction conduit line and a second nipple arranged to be attached to a conduit terminating at the other end at a source of body fluids. The arrangement of the bottle is designed to aspirate the body fluids into the container without permitting the fluids to actually reach the suction line. In another embodiment the aperture has an insert container which extends downwardly into the container. The insert container is calibrated to receive accurately measurable, small quantities of body fluid collected within both the bottle and the insert. Such insert includes overflow means whereby quantities in excess of a predetermined amount can overflow into the interior of the bottle.
