    Abstract: A computer system with an augmented reality display renders one or more virtual training elements in a real world environment. Cameras analyze the local real-world environment to produce a detailed terrain map which is used to more accurately locate the virtual training elements. The cameras also track the movement of the trainee by recognizing terrain features and deriving such movement based on changes from one scan to the next, and potentially based on GPS and inertial management unit data. A centralized computer system correlates terrain maps from a plurality of trainees and defines real-world locations for virtual training elements, then transmitting the virtual training elements to the plurality of trainees.

The primary and secondary dies are then connected by the addition of redistribution layers. The resulting hybrid die may then be vertically integrated into the SIP along with additional memory modules or dies.

    Abstract: A method of performing error recovery of encrypted data frames is disclosed. A data packet is received, and a decryption operation is performed on the data packet. The data packet is compared with one or more data packets stored in a recovery buffer to identify a duplicate of the data packet when the decryption operation fails. One or more bits affected by one or more bit errors are identified based on a comparison between the data packet and the duplicate of the data packet. Different combinations of bit values for the one or more bits are determined. The decryption operation is performed on the data packet with the different combinations to identify a correct combination of bit values for the one or more bits. The data packet is recovered (e.g., corrected so that it can be decrypted and consumed) based on the correct combination of bit values.

    Abstract: A system and method for granular redundant multithreading in a high integrity multicore processing environment (MCPE) generates redundant critical application threads incorporating executable instructions and input data relevant to a critical process when a user application running on a homogenous core of the MCPE encounters the critical process and issues a system call. The critical application threads are forked to different processing cores environments for execution, and the result sets of each executed critical application threads are forked to different cores for cross-comparison (different from the cores on which the result sets were generated). The result sets are cross-checked to the desired degree of integrity (e.g., consensus agreement or majority vote of all comparing cores) and the hypervisor returns the execution returned to the calling user application with the final result set (or with a fault, if the evaluation was unsuccessful and the desired level of agreement not reached).

    Abstract: An integrated photonics monopulse comparator includes an array of squinted monopulse elements, each monopulse element producing an RF signal in response to a received inbound signal and each RF signal having a squinted RF voltage. The comparator includes a laser source for producing a wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) optical signal comprising multiple components having discrete wavelengths. The component signals may be multiplexed and demultiplexed and routed through cascading optical phase modulators, each phase modulator connected to a monopulse element and capable of modulating a component signal according to the voltages of the RF signals produced by the corresponding monopulse element. The resulting modulated component optical signals undergo coherent photodetection by arrays of paired photodiodes, each pair receiving component signals of like wavelength.

    Abstract: A door assembly for a microwave oven includes a door covering an opening of an oven housing. The door includes a bezel forming an outer frame to conceal internal door components and an inner door portion within the bezel made of a transparent material. An electromagnetic interference (EMI) attenuation device positioned around outer edges of the door includes folded transformer sections with dimensions based on an operative wavelength of electromagnetic energy generated by the oven. The EMI attenuation device attenuates EMI waves escaping the oven through a gap between the housing and the door. The transformer sections are positioned at an incline angle from a horizontal plane in which the transformer sections extend a greater distance in the horizontal plane than in a vertical plane to allow for a reduced bezel size and an increased area of the inner door portion.

Photonic inputs incorporating M component wavelengths are split into equivalent inputs for each quadrant subarray and array element (e.g., N array elements in each quadrant subarray). Within each array element, the component wavelengths are apodized by attenuators and the apodized input signal modulated by a received inbound RF signal (via broadband Mach-Zehnder electro-optical modulators). The resulting positive-polarity and negative-polarity modulated photonic signals are demultiplexed and each component wavelength time-delayed. Time-delayed wavelength-selective optical delay channels are copied and combined by single mode/multi-mode (SM/MM) couplers into photonic antenna beams and simultaneously generated photonic comparator outputs (elevational difference, sum, azimuthal difference) for each component wavelength.
