The transparent panel is received within a socket defined by the interior wall and the flange. The retainer ring is secured to the threaded section of the interior wall.     Abstract: A pressure sensor assembly includes a pressure sensor having a support structure and a sapphire isolation member coupled to the support structure and forming a region between a first surface of the sapphire isolation member and the support structure. A second surface of the sapphire isolation member has a sapphire etch surface formed thereon and is positioned to interface with fluid from or coupled to a process. A process seal is positioned against the second surface of the sapphire isolation member to prevent fluid from passing by the pressure sensor assembly. Electrical leads couple to a polysilicon strain gauge pattern positioned in the region on the first surface of the sapphire isolation member, and the polysilicon strain gauge pattern is configured to generate electrical signals indicative of the pressure of the fluid when the sapphire isolation member deflects responsive to the pressure.

The combustion analyzer finally includes a controller configured to receive the sensor signals, determine the concentration of oxygen, and generate a carbon monoxide concentration output and methane concentration output based on the dual carbon monoxide-methane sensor signals and the concentration of oxygen.

The seal body configured to be mounted to a process element containing a process fluid such that a first side of the diaphragm is exposed to the process fluid. A capillary contains a fill fluid that is in fluid communication with the cavity and a second side of the diaphragm. A coupling has a capillary recess and two cavities separated by a second diaphragm. The capillary extends through the capillary recess and connects to the coupling such that the fill fluid in the capillary is in fluid communication with one of the two cavities and the second diaphragm. A thermally conductive element preferably extends continuously along the capillary from the seal body toward the coupling and into the capillary recess without contacting the coupling.

    Abstract: An industrial process field device includes a piezoelectric transducer, a sensor circuit, a test circuit, a controller and a communications circuit. The sensor circuit generates a sensor signal indicating a process variable based on a voltage across the piezoelectric transducer. The test circuit is configured to apply a voltage pulse having a pulse voltage to the piezoelectric transducer that induces a response signal, and capture peak positive and negative voltages of the response signal. The controller calculates a current condition value of the piezoelectric transducer based on the peak positive voltage, the peak negative voltage and the pulse voltage, and generates a diagnostic test result based on a comparison of the current condition value to a reference condition value corresponding to a properly operating piezoelectric transducer. The communications circuit communicates the process variable and the diagnostic test result to an external control unit over a process control loop.

Movement of the sensor body relative to the housing along an axis of the bore is restricted to an axial distance through engagement between the flange and the first or second threaded portion that includes the threaded cylindrical bore, and engagement between the main housing and the sensor body. Rotation of the sensor body relative to the housing about the axis is limited by the axial distance.
