Abstract: A cleaning apparatus includes an elongated housing bounding a chamber with a motor disposed therein. A drive shaft is at least partially disposed within the chamber of the housing, the drive shaft being coupled with the motor such that during selective operation of the motor the drive shaft is rotated. A hub having a rotational axis about which the hub rotates is coupled with the drive shaft such that rotation of the drive shaft facilitates rotation of the hub. A cleaning head is removably coupled with the hub such that rotation of the hub causes rotation of the cleaning head. A disengaging system is movable between a first position where the cleaning head is securely engaged to the hub and a second position where the cleaning head is freely removable from the hub.

Abstract: A mobile technology cabinet comprises a compartment having a work platform mounted for rotational motion between a substantially vertical storage position and a deployed position. A monitor support is operatively connected to the work platform such that movement of the work platform between the storage position and the deployed position causes the monitor support to rise from a storage position to a deployed position. The work platform may be rotated relative to the cabinet to simultaneously deploy the work surface and to raise the monitor. A base supports the cabinet for movement on wheels. A frame extends from the base and supports a cabinet such that the cabinet is movable between a raised position and a lowered position.

Abstract: A drinking container has a bottle with an open top, a cap assembly attachable to the bottle to cover the open top, and a drinking spout with a top opening on the cap assembly. A spout cover is removably fitted on the top opening of the drinking spout. A flexible tether is connected to the spout cover and to the cap assembly or the bottle. The tether is looped unto itself permitting the spout cover and a portion of the tether to be extended to reach the top opening and to be retracted withdrawing the spout cover to a position remote from the drinking spout.

Abstract: A medical cart includes a work platform having a work surface and at least one compartment, a base, and a height adjustment mechanism for adjusting the height of the work platform relative to the base. A medication module includes a plurality of compartments. The medical cart can be joined with a medication module. In addition, a plurality of medication modules can be joined to form a train. The medical cart and medication module can be used collectively and individually in a variety of methods for transferring medicine.

Abstract: The drawer assembly comprises a cabinet defining an internal space. A shelf is supported in the cabinet. The shelf supports a latch that is movable between a first position and a second position. A drawer is supported on the shelf where the drawer has a latch receiving structure formed thereon. The latch receiving structure includes a first surface engageable with the latch when the latch is in the first position and a second surface also engageable with the latch when the latch is in the first position such that the drawer can be locked relative to the cabinet in one of two positions. In one embodiment the drawer is supported on a mobile medical cart. The cart may also include a computer such as a PC, wireless communications systems to communicate with a wider network system, a system controller and/or other systems.

Abstract: A modular recycling unit comprises a support for supporting a first container. The first container is tiltable between a first position where the interior of the container is accessible and a second position where the interior of the container is inaccessible. The first container is freely removable from the support. A second container is supported on the support such that it is in a stacked relationship relative to the first container. The second container is freely removable from the support.

Abstract: A dish drainer assembly has a basket with a bottom and a side wall extending up from a perimeter of the bottom. The side wall terminates at a top edge. A cut out is formed in a part of the side wall and has an upper edge that is lower than the top edge of the remainder of the side wall. A drying accessory has a plurality of fingers spaced apart from one another and is configured to removably attach to the basket in a first position and a second position different from the first. The fingers are oriented differently in each of the first and second positions.

Abstract: A storage apparatus comprises a rail adapted to be secured to a surface and an accessory releasably mounted to the rail. The accessory comprises a gripper assembly and a storage device, the gripper assembly includes a gripper mechanism that is movably mounted relative to a support such that the gripper mechanism is movable into and out of engagement with the rail when the accessory is mounted on the rail.

Abstract: A drawer assembly for mounting beneath a shelf has a drawer and a mounting unit. The drawer has a bottom, a front end, a rear end, and a pair of opposed side panels. The mounting unit is configured to mount to a shelf and has a pair of spaced apart drawer supports that support the drawer under a shelf. A pair of laterally spaced apart tracks is provided on either the drawer side panels or the mounting unit drawer supports. A pair of lugs protrudes from each of the other of the drawer side panels or the mounting unit drawer supports. Each pair of lugs is slidable relative to and along a respective one of the tracks. The drawer is slidable between a closed position and an open position relative to the mounting unit. The tracks and lugs cooperate such that the front end and rear end of the drawer are substantially level with one another in the closed position and the front end is lower than the rear end in the open position.

Abstract: A sink protector is provided that includes a frame defining a frame opening, and a grate supported by the frame. The grate includes a first grate section and a second grate section, each having a perimeter and a plurality of wires extending across each grate section to provide structure for supporting various items to be deposited in a sink. The grate is sufficiently porous to allow the unobstructed passage of water and food particles therethrough. The grate sections are pivotally connected such that at least one of the grate sections pivots about the other grate section to allow unencumbered access to the sink drain.

Abstract: A storage system comprises a container comprising a rigid side wall defining a corner. A divider comprises a first flexible wall attached to the side wall and a second wall attached to the side wall. The first wall is connected to the second wall and is movable between a first configuration where the first wall and the second wall extend parallel to the side wall and a second configuration where the first wall and the second wall extend away from the side wall to define a first compartment in the container. The system may proved a plurality of containers sized such that they may be stacked on top of one another and nested inside of one another.

Abstract: A waste can comprises a receptacle having a rim with at least one bag lock located on the rim. The bag lock has a first portion defining a cavity and a second portion movable with respect to the first portion between a first position where it is locked to the first portion and a second position where it is spaced from the first portion. The second portion locks a trash bag in the cavity when in the first position.

Abstract: An ice scoop is disclosed and has a scoop section and a handle section. The scoop section includes a bottom with a forward end, a rear end, and opposed side edges, two opposed side walls extending up from the side edges of the bottom, and a back wall connecting the side walls and connected to the rear end of the bottom. A scoop cavity is defined within the scoop section. The handle section extends rearward from the back wall and has two elongate, opposed, and spaced apart rails. First and second grips extend laterally between the two rails. The first grip is spaced from the back wall. The second grip is spaced from the first grip further from the back wall. The handle section is oriented at an oblique angle relative to the bottom and angles upward away from the back. The handle has an offset step formed in the side rails. The forward end is a reinforced edge. The scoop has a hand shield at the back wall and spaced from the first grip.

Abstract: A workstation comprises a support and a carriage mounted on the support and movable relative to the support. The carriage supports a work platform. A counter-balance supports the carriage and the work platform. A lock mechanism locks the carriage relative to the support in a desired position. The workstation may comprise a swing arm attached to the support at a vertical pivot such that the support may pivot relative to the swing arm. A method of operating the work station is also provided comprising moving an actuator to retract the pin from the rack. The weight of the support is supported by the counter-balance. The carriage is repositioned and the actuator is released to allow the pin to move to the extended position where it engages the rack.

Abstract: A work station comprises a work platform that may be mounted on a movable carriage. The work platform may support a keyboard tray on a drawer where the drawer may be moved between a retracted position and an extended position. The tray is mounted for pivoting motion in a first direction and a second direction between a lowered position and a raised position. A gear is operatively connected to the tray such that rotation of the tray causes rotation of the gear. A pawl is biased into engagement with the gear to prevent movement of the tray in the second direction to lock the tray in an angular position when the tray is moved in the first direction. A latch disengages the pawl from the gear when the tray reaches the fully raised position to allow the tray to move in the second direction to the lowered position.

Abstract: A workstation comprises a support and a work platform mounted on the support by an articulation mechanism. The articulation mechanism pivots the work platform between a storage position and a deployed position about a pivot axis and raises the pivot axis relative to the support as the work platform moves from the storage position to the deployed position. The workstation comprises a support supporting a flat monitor in a monitor housing having a depth. In the storage position the work platform is located below the monitor and in the deployed position the work platform may be used as a keyboard support and a desk.
