    Abstract: An intercept mechanism for clamping on a central element includes a clamp element, a sleeve and a retainer element. The clamp element, at one end, has a mounting end connected by an adapter portion to a clamping end which has been bent in a U-shape to receive the end of the central element and is held on the central element by the sleeve. The mounting end can be detachably connected to the retainer element and the retainer element and mounting end can then be fixed to the cable with the assistance of a hose clamp.

    Abstract: A screwable cable seal introduction device for employment at sleeves or housings having an introduction sheath onto which a union nut can be screwed. A press sleeve is located in the inside of the introduction sheath, an annular seal composed of sealing material and laterally arranged support rings being deformed with the press sleeve until the required adhesion of the sealing material at the sealing surfaces to be contacted is accomplished. An automatic pressure compensation subsequently occurs, so that no permanent pressure is exerted onto the introduced cable.

The regions can be arranged in sandwich-like layers or can be arranged in alternately-arranged, parallel-extending bands. The regions having the lower shrinkability resist tearing and continued tearing of the regions with the high shrinkability and the region with the high shrinkability insure a proper shrinking of the envelope onto the article or material being surrounded thereby.
