    Abstract: An ophthalmic photographic apparatus comprises a photographic mask for defining a fundus photography range, a photographic stop for eliminating light reflected from an anterior portion of the eye, and a focusing lens for bringing the fundus into focus. The photographic mask and the photographic stop are interlocked and move as one unit relative to the movement of the focusing lens in such a way that with respect to a photographic optical system, the photographic mask is maintained at a position substantially conjugate with an imaging plane of a CCD and the photographic stop is maintained at a position substantially conjugate with an anterior portion of the eye. The CCD is located at the image-side focal plane of the image-formation lens, the mask is located on the object-side focal plane of the focusing lens, and the photographic stop is located on the image-side focal plane of the focusing lens.

    Abstract: An optical measuring apparatus for examining an eye which automatically aligns the optical axes of said apparatus and the eye with each other and focusing the light emitted by said apparatus on the eye. When these operations are accomplished, the projection of a measuring light is automatically started. The apparatus includes axes-aligning-focusing optical system. The optical system has a pair of optical axes-aligning light sources. Two images of beams emitted by the respective optical axes-aligning light sources and reflected by the cornea of the eye are detected by a light receiving sensor when the beams are focused substantially on the eye. Discriminating devices discriminate whether or not the optical axes of the two cornea-reflected images detected by the light receiving sensor align with the optical axis of the eye in Y-direction of the light receiving sensor.

The body has at least two connecting members extending between a pair of side plate members thereof, one of the connecting members can contact a strap connected to the lever means during the usual use to firmly hold the lever in a locked position.     Abstract: A clasping device comprised of a frame and a manipulatable tongue pivotally connected to the frame for movement between released and fastened positions and having first, second and third cross pins and a barrier plate. A flexible strap is threaded through the tongue in such a manner as to extend, when the tongue is in the released position, through a clearance between the barrier plate and the second cross pin, past around and in contact with the second cross pin thereby forming a loop around the second cross pin, and back past beneath and in contact with the first cross pin, so that when the strap is drawn taut as the tongue is pivoted towards the fastened position portions of the strap one on each side of the strap loop are urged in overlapping relation against the first cross pin to provide substantial frictional resistance to the relative movement of the strap loop after the strap is tightened with the tongue held in the fastened position.

A length of flexible strap extends first through the substantially U-shaped body in one direction and again through the body in the opposite direction after having been turned around a stanchion carried by the manipulatable lever means.
