  • Patent number: 11407581
Abstract: A dispensing system includes a container and an overcap. The container includes a central, longitudinal axis and a first outermost point. The first outermost point of the container is a first distance from the central, longitudinal axis along a first line perpendicular to the central, longitudinal axis. The overcap is coupled to the container and includes a pivotable trigger that is configured to pivot between an unactuated position and an actuated position. A second outermost point of the trigger is a second distance from the central, longitudinal axis along a second line perpendicular to the central, longitudinal axis when the trigger is in the unactuated position, the second distance less than the first distance. Further, the second outermost point of the trigger is to move toward the central, longitudinal axis when the trigger moves toward the actuated position.

  • Patent number: 11407000
Abstract: A volatile material dispenser includes a base that houses a printed circuit board, a stand assembly that is coupled with the base, the stand assembly including a platform, a stand that extends from the platform, and a manifold that extends from the stand, the manifold containing a circular piezoelectric element. The dispenser further includes a shroud that is coupled with the stand assembly and defines a chimney, and a refill comprising a wick, the refill being removably coupled with the manifold. The manifold includes a cylindrical wall that extends upward from the manifold, a spring is disposed within the manifold and is coaxial with the cylindrical wall, and a top end of the spring is wrapped around the cylindrical wall and a bottom end of the spring applies a force against the piezoelectric element.

  • Publication number: 20220234786
Abstract: A reclosable pouch in combination with an elongate closure mechanism. The elongate closure mechanism includes a first base member disposed along a first sidewall. A pair of interlocking members extends from a first surface of the first base member, and are parallel to each other with a space therebetween. A plurality of partial indentations is disposed along a second surface of the first base member, extending longitudinally between the opposite ends of the elongate closure mechanism, and being visible between the opposite ends of the elongate closure mechanism. The pair of interlocking members extending from the first base member occlude and deocclude with a pair of interlocking members extending from the second base member, in order to resealably close the mouth. The plurality of partial indentations remains visible during the occluding and deoccluding.

  • Patent number: 11339353
Abstract: Cleaning compositions that include (a) a glycine betaine ester, (b) an acidifying agent, (c) polysaccharide thickener, and (d) water, are provided. Commonly, the glycine betaine ester may include one or more compounds of formula (I): Me3N+—CH2—C(O)—O—R X? wherein R is an aliphatic group having 8 to 22 carbon atoms and X? represents an inorganic or organic anion. Commonly, the composition has a pH of no more than about 4, a viscosity of no more than about 1,500 cP at a shear rate of 10 at 25° C., and/or a viscosity of at least about 250 cP at a shear rate of 50 at 25° C. (where the viscosities are determined with a Brookfield Cone/Plate viscometer). The cleaning composition may exhibit a unique sheer thinning profile, such that the composition thins less after being sprayed onto a surface and thereby providing a longer contact time than conventional cleaning products.

  • Publication number: 20220145133
Abstract: Water-in-oil (W/O) emulsion compositions having freeze-thaw stability are provided which include water, at least one hydrocarbon solvent, at least one nonionic emulsifier, and at least one freeze-thaw stabilizer which either prevents breaking of the emulsion after a freeze-thaw cycle or enables the emulsion to be re-formed following breaking after a freeze-thaw cycle by simple shaking of the emulsion composition. Preferred freeze-thaw stabilizers are polyols (e.g., glycerin), sugars (e.g., sucrose), polar aprotic solvents (e.g., dimethyl sulfoxide) and amphoteric compounds (e.g., lauryl dimethyl amine oxide). The freeze-thaw stabilizers are particularly useful in furniture care, shoe care and auto care cleaning and/or polishing products including therein water, hydrocarbon solvent(s), nonionic emulsifier(s) and additives, such as film former(s), surfactant(s), fragrance component(s) and preservative(s).

  • Patent number: 11267626
Abstract: A packaging device includes a first portion and a second portion connected to the first portion by way of a first fold line. The first portion includes a first primary edge opposite the first fold line. First and second secondary edges extend between the first fold line and the first primary edge, and an attachment mechanism is provided adjacent the first primary edge. The second portion includes a second primary edge opposite the first fold line. Third and fourth secondary edges extend between the first fold line and the second primary edge. An arm is defined by two cut lines extending from a section of the second portion closer to the first fold line than the second primary edge, and ending in a tab that extends beyond a distal end of the second primary edge.
