  • Publication number: 20160089592
Abstract: The invention relates to a heel-piece for binding a boot on a gliding board that includes a frame including a vertical extension; a body rotatably mounted about the extension; at least two rods supported by the body, extending on respective sides of the vertical extension, the two rods each having a free end to cooperate with a housing in the heel of the boot; and a holding mechanism for maintaining a spacing between the free ends of the rods. The vertical extension supports at least one contact zone fixed in relation to the frame. Each rod cooperates with a respective portion of the contact zone, specific to each rod. The contact zone is arranged such that a rotation of the body about the extension, from a descent configuration, causes an increased spacing between the two rods. The invention also relates to a binding system and a gliding board equipped with such a binding.

  • Patent number: 9227131
Abstract: A gliding apparatus includes four gliding bodies that can be selectively separated or assembled together. In the assembled configuration, the first and second gliding bodies form opposite lateral portions of the gliding apparatus, and the third and fourth gliding bodies form a longitudinally extending intermediate gliding body defining a median portion of the gliding apparatus. A device to affix the four gliding bodies together includes first and second assembly elements that are affixed, respectively, to the third and fourth gliding bodies to form the intermediate gliding body. The first assembly element includes at least a first longitudinal projection, projecting from the fourth gliding body and designed to extend over an upper surface of the third gliding body. The first longitudinal projection of the first assembly element is designed to be engaged with the second assembly element to limit relative longitudinal spacing between the third and fourth gliding bodies.

  • Patent number: 9220969
Abstract: A toe-piece for binding a boot to a gliding board, the toe-piece including a first front boot-retaining device and a second front boot-retaining device. The first front boot-retaining device is designed for ascending a slope and includes boot-fastening mechanisms defining a hinge axis about which the boot pivots when the toe-piece is in an ascent configuration. The second front boot-retaining device is designed for descending a slope and includes two wings each supporting a lateral interface surface designed to come into contact with a front portion of the boot when the toe-piece is in a descent configuration. The toe-piece also includes a longitudinal stop surface movable between an active position in which it is designed to cooperate with the front portion of the boot, and an inactive position in which it is arranged so that it is no longer capable of cooperating with the front portion of the boot. The longitudinal stop surface is movable in relation to the wings.
