Abstract: A mask including: a mask main body 11; and a cord 12 that is placed over both ears or the head of a wearer to fix the mask main body 11 at a specific position on the face of the wearer, wherein the mask main body includes an inner layer 15 that is positioned on the side of the mouth of the wearer when the mask is being worn, an outer layer 17 that is on the outside of the mask when the mask is being worn, and a filter layer 16 that is positioned between the inner layer 15 and the outer layer 17, the filter layer 16 including two or more layers of a melt blown nonwoven fabric layer.

Abstract: There is provided a mask that includes a mask body and two strings. The two strings hold the mask body at a predetermined position on the face of a wearer by being caught by both ears or the head of the wearer. Folded portions, which are adapted so as to be capable of rising and falling on the surface of the mask body coming into contact with the face of the wearer, are formed on both sides of the mask body.

The left edges of the upper and lower parts are joined, and the right edges of the upper and lower parts are joined, while the upper edge of the upper part and the lower edge of the lower part are not joined. The connection part has a folding portion located between the upper part and the lower part, and is bent relative to the lower edge of the upper part and the upper edge of the lower part, so that the connection part does not protrude outwardly over the lower edge of the upper part and the upper edge of the lower part. Breathing can be made easily in the mask.

Abstract: A mask is formed of a rectangular mask main body made of a ventilating material and a longitudinal elastic member stored in and attached to the mask main body. The mask main body is formed of a rectangular rear side member facing at least a nose and a mouth of a wearer, and a rectangular front side member disposed over the rear side member. The mask main body has folded portions folded in a direction parallel to long sides of the mask main body. End portions of the folded portions are located on short sides and bound thereat. The longitudinal elastic member extends along the long sides of the mask main body and has end portions arranged not to contact the short sides of the mask main body. Since the end portions of the elastic member do not contact the user in use, the mask can be worn comfortably.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a mask capable of improving the stiffness. The mask includes a rectangular mask main body of a ventilating material, such as paper, fabric, and non-woven fabric, having folded portions folded in the direction parallel to the longer sides of the mask main body, with the both end portions of the folded portions on the shorter sides of the mask main body being bound by welding, adhering or stitching, wherein a longitudinal elastic member is provided along the longitudinal direction parallel to the longer sides of the mask main body, with the both end portions of the longitudinal elastic member being arranged on the shorter sides of the mask main body and integrated with the shorter ends of the mask main body by welding, adhering, or stitching.

Abstract: A method for joining non-woven fabrics having the following steps; opposing the same sides of a first and a second non-woven fabrics and, whereby superimposing end portions thereof, joining with heat bonding the end portions superimposed, opening the first and second non-woven fabrics at both sides of a fabric to the first and second non-woven fabrics in the opening state, while extending over them along the joining portion, and joining with heat bonding the third non-woven fabric to the first and second non-woven fabrics including the joining portion.
