  • Patent number: 5498919
Abstract: The purpose of this invention is to supply people with a flat core-less direct-current motor of high output torque, high speed and high power efficiency. It is also a 3 phase flat core-less direct-current motor comprising a fan-shaped flat armature coils of alignment winding in which an included angle constituted by each of coil portions effective for producing a torque exceeds 180 degrees in electrical angle and a disk-shaped rotary armature constituted by the said armature coils arranged at equal pitches within a plane with their outside surfaces made radial and with each adjacent two of them kept in contact with each other and plastic in which the said armature coils are buried or a stationary armature with a magnetic body of a little iron loss functioning as a magnetic path on its one surface.

  • Patent number: 4398127
Abstract: An electric flash lamp unit is provided with an electric flash lamp and a storage capacitor for supplying energy to the flash lamp unit. An optimum exposure value of a film is previously determined. Therefore, a flash time of the flash lamp for providing the optimum exposure is determined by providing a distance from a flash lamp to an object to be photographed, a film sensitivity, an F number, and a charge voltage of the storage capacitor. A number of flash time data with the associated addresses are stored in a ROM. The distance information modified by the film sensitivity and the F number and the charge voltage information of the storage capacitor are used as address data for the ROM. The flash time data is read out from the ROM by the address data and is used to deenergize the electric flash lamp.

  • Patent number: 4224650
Abstract: An automatic cartridge ejecting apparatus for magnetic tape player is provided. The apparatus comprises an eject lever for ejecting the cartridge from the tape player and an electromagnetic latch device adapted to latch the eject lever in a depressed position. The latch device comprises a movable member operatively connected to the eject lever, a magnet and a ferromagnetic lever pivotally connected to the movable member and being engageable with the magnet when the eject lever is in the depressed position. The ferromagnetic lever is configured to provide a mechanical advantage to the magnet for holding the eject lever in the depressed position.

  • Patent number: 4187522
Abstract: A latch device latches a fast forward button when the same is depressed. A sensor releases the latch device and thereby the fast forward button upon sensing a blank area on a magnetic tape. The latch device comprises a ferromagnetic lever which is pivotally connected to the fast forward button and is engageable with a magnet when the fast forward button is in the depressed position. The lever is configured to provide a mechanical advantage for holding the fast forward button in the depressed position. The magnet may be an electromagnet which is de-energized when the sensor senses the blank area on the tape. Alternatively, the magnet may be a permanent magnet and an electromagnet provided to neutralize the force of the permanent magnet on the lever when the electromagnet is energized.
