    Abstract: An ink jet printer includes a liquid ejection head that forms an image on a roll paper which is transported from upstream to downstream of a transportation path, and a cutter unit that cuts the roll paper on which the image is formed by the liquid ejection head straight in the direction transverse to the transportation direction of the roll paper, wherein the cutter unit is configured to be capable of changing the cutting direction of the roll paper.
