Patents Assigned to Ship Research Institute
  • Publication number: 20040243401
Abstract: An apparatus for judging a fatigue level and/or a dozing state of a person by capturing voices uttered at different points of time from a microphone 5M. A computer performs chaos analysis of the digital data of the inputted voices and calculates Lyapunov exponents and judges a fatigue level and/or a dozing state based on the result of the chaos analysis.

  • Patent number: 6282487
Abstract: Weather information is stored in a weather information storage unit. Information of aircraft flight situation, flight plan, air traffic flow management, and condition status is stored in an aircraft information storage unit. On the basis of information stored in the weather information storage unit and the aircraft information storage unit, arrival time of each arriving aircraft and departing aircraft is predicted by an arrival time prediction unit and a departure time prediction unit. The information of the estimated time thus predicted is stored in an estimated time of takeoff and landing storage unit. On the other hand, on the basis of information stored in information storage units, runway use time is assigned to each arriving aircraft and departing aircraft by a takeoff and landing assignment unit in accordance with Control System Standards. Runway reservation information thus obtained is stored in a reservation information storage unit.

  • Publication number: 20010003809
Abstract: In an air traffic control system for controlling aircraft a three-dimensional position is provided to monitor a position of an air traffic controller. An image is displayed on a display portion with reference to the position of the controller. The image displayed on the display portion always appears in a front image regardless of the position of the controller or may be selected to be displayed on a selected area of the display portion determined by the position of the controller.

  • Patent number: 6144915
Abstract: In a path determining section, an optimum path is calculated based on detection/storage information of a position detector, airport surface information storage section, aircraft information storage section and knowledge information storage section according to an instruction request from a request information input section of an aircraft and is indicated by a path indicator of the aircraft. Further, a collision determining section calculates the possibility of collision on the optimum path obtained in the path determining section according to the coordinates and traveling directions of all of the aircraft based on the above detection/storage information and a warning is indicated by a warning indicator of the aircraft.

  • Patent number: 6064939
Abstract: An individual guidance system for aircraft in an approach control area under automatic dependent surveillance which, by supplying the pilot with the required flight data automatically in units of micro air spaces, permits safe and accurate flight with little scope for human error, being an individual guidance system for aircraft in an approach control area under automatic dependent surveillance wherein the air-traffic control system divides the approach control area automatically into a group of micro air spaces, and establishes flight rules within the micro air spaces in order to guide aircraft by establishing no-fly air spaces.

  • Patent number: 5677841
Abstract: A control target surveillance system capable of acquiring positional data of a control target in a control zone at high precision with fewer communications lines in a short period of time. A D. GPS ground station obtains differential data with respect to positional data based on a GPS signal from a GPS satellite, and sends this data to a control target to compensate the positional data obtained from the GPS signal. A surveillance cycle is time-divided by the number of SSR codes, individual time slots are associated with the SSR codes, and each control target is allowed.
