  • Patent number: 11148285
Abstract: A method for operating a hand-guided robot having a jointed arm and an end effector is provided. As part of the method, a moment is measured at each joint while the robot is being hand-guided or subjected to a mechanical tension due to contact with an external object. Based on the measured moment, an external moment affecting the robot is determined. Then, a correction factor for a position of the end effector is computed based on the external moment and an absolute accurate model of the robot. Then, a current position of the end effector is computed based on a correction model in dependence on the correction factor. • Publication number: 20210316393
Abstract: In a method for guiding a cutting head in relation to a material, a position and a speed of the cutting head are set by means of a drive unit depending on a desired position value and a desired speed value established by an interpolator unit, a control signal for the drive unit is determined, a distance between the cutting head and the material is determined with a distance sensor, and a corresponding distance signal is provided. The distance signal is compared with a predetermined comparison distance to yield a distance-control signal, and the control signal for the drive unit is additionally determined dependent upon a distance-control signal. The comparison distance is subtracted from the distance signal and the difference is superimposed on the actual position signal, which is delayed by a first time period, wherefrom the distance-control signal is determined.

  • Publication number: 20210319879
Abstract: A computer-implemented method is for classifying a region of interest in a medical image data set depicting a body part of a patient. The region of interest contains an object of potential pathological relevance. In an embodiment, the method includes a plurality of steps. One step is directed to generate a plurality of different representations of the region of interest. Another step is directed to determine, for each of the representations, a classification to generate a corresponding plurality of classifications. Thereby, each classification indicates a pathological relevance of the object in the respective representation. Yet, a further step is directed to calculate an ensemble classification for the region of interest based on the plurality of classifications.

  • Patent number: 11146102
Abstract: An electrical energy distribution grid is controlled by a control center. Power target values for the real power and reactive power at a transfer point between the energy distribution grid and an electrical energy transport grid are prescribed by a target value device. The target values are to avoid backward feed into the energy transport grid that could lead to malfunctions. The real and reactive power target values are compared with current values at the transfer point. When a deviation of the actual values is determined, an optimization calculation is effected for the real power value and the reactive power value in the energy distribution grid to reduce or remove the deviation. The optimization generates switching commands for controllable operating devices, and a control device transmits the switching commands to the operating devices. There is also described a control center arrangement and a corresponding computer program product.
