    Abstract: Structured surfaces are generated in a coil coating line operating at least at 60 m/min by a process comprising the step of passing the wet layer of paint under a roll having a raised pattern on its surface that imparts a structure to the wet layer before heating to form a coating having a structured surface. The paint has a viscosity of 30 to 200 s (DIN 4 cup; DIN 53211).
