Abstract: The suitcase comprises two shells (1,2) each having a large face, a lower face, and upper face and two transverse faces, two wheels (5) projecting at the lower end of traverse faces (6) of the shells, and a pulling handle (10) provided on shell (1), in the vicinity of the upper end of its other traverse face (11). Pulling handle (10) comprises an elongate support (12) fixed parallel to the axis of the wheel (5) of shell (1) and a gripping loop (13) hinged to support (12).

Abstract: A wheeled suitcase is provided in which each of the wheels (6) comprises a cylindrical running strip (13) integral with a central hub (14) having an external annular rib (15), a support (16) comprising studs (17) spaced at equal distances from a bore (18) coaxial with the hub and each ending in a radial lug (19) under which the rib (15) of the hub fits and a shaft (20) passing through the bore (18) of the support to penetrate inside the hub (14), one of the ends of this shaft bearing a plate (21) applied against the face of the support (16) which is opposite the studs (17) whereas its other end comprises an annular groove (22) cooperating with a complementary annular rib (23) formed inside the hub, means (32) being provided for securing the plate (21) and the support (16) inside the housing (7) formed in the external face of the corresponding shell (1).

Abstract: The piece of luggage provided by the invention comprises a bottom (1) to which is hinged a lid (2), a handle (3) provided with means for mounting same on the external face of the front wall of the bottom, and two closure devices (26) each adapted to cooperate with a keeper (4) for locking the lid to the bottom. It is characterized in that the keepers (4) are formed in a separate unit which is fixed against the internal face of the front wall of the bottom by the handle-mounting means; and in that the closure devices (26) are mounted on the front wall of the lid (2) and each comprise a hook (27) adapted to engage with the corresponding keeper when the lid is closed.

Abstract: The present invention proposes a process for manufacturing an object intended to be held in the hand and which comprises a body made from a plastic material reinforced inside by means of a frame and comprising at least one grasping zone having a hardness less than that of its other parts. This process consists in placing the frame in a mould comprising an injection aperture in the part of its cavity corresponding to the grasping zone of the object, closing the mould, injecting into the cavity a definite amount of a compact plastic material, this amount being insufficient to completely fill the mould, then injecting an amount of expanded plastic material to completely fill the cavity, the expanded plastic material, which while penetrating inside the volume of the non-solidified compact material, forces this latter to come into contact with the whole internal surface of the cavity of the mould and to cover the frame, and removing the object from the mould after cooling of the two plastic materials.

Abstract: A suitcase which includes two shells and at least two rollers disposed in housings provided in the outer face of the shells, so as to project outwardly wherein each roller is disposed in its housing between two complementary members forming an added box, and is rotatably mounted inside the latter, on a shaft extending between these two complementary members, and a securing member being provided for maintaining the box in the housing, inside the shells, while interlocking the component parts thereof.
