A canopy covers the tank, and a lighting assembly is secured to an interior portion of the canopy. A filter arrangement is provided in communication with the interior volume of the tank.

Abstract: A dosing bottle has a container; a riser; a cap piece; a standpipe connected to the riser and one or more return openings in a tubular wall of the standpipe; and a closure member. The closure member is rotatably attached to the cap piece and defines an interior dosing volume and a dispenser opening. The closure member is axially movable relative to the cap piece between a closed position and an open position. The open position allows a liquid in the interior volume of the container to flow through the riser and through the return opening and into the interior dosing volume.

Abstract: Compositions and methods for making an interactive and playful pet chew are described herein. The pet chew comprises a chew stick having a longitudinal axis and one or more portions disposed onto the chew stick. The one or more portions are configured to be rotatable around the longitudinal axis and/or movable along the pet chew. The present pet chew provides a complex and changeable configuration and compositions of balanced nutrition.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides compositions and methods of use for effectively treating aquarium water in long term. The compositions include various components functioning to improve water quality, reduce or remove inorganic nitrogen and phosphorus, stabilize buffer capacity, and provide other advantages to aquarium water. Methods of using the compositions to improve the efficiency of treating aquarium water are also provided. The compositions and methods of the present disclosure can improve prophylaxis against unfavorable aquatic plant such as algae and extend life of animals in aquarium water.

The heating appliance also includes a rack configured to support a food product within the food product compartment. The heating appliance also includes a heating assembly disposed within the food product compartment and an elongate heating device having a first length, and an angled heat distribution member having a second length disposed between the heating device and the rack. The heat distribution member includes a pattern of apertures and the heat distribution member is configured to prevent infrared radiation produced by the heating device from directly reaching the rear wall of the housing, except for infrared radiation that passes through the apertures of the heat distribution member.

Abstract: An aquarium system includes a tank, a motion sensor, and a light source. The motion sensor is adapted to sense motion within a predetermined distance from the tank. The light source has a controllable intensity projecting light into the tank. The intensity varies responsive to motion sensed by the motion sensor. When the motion sensor senses movement, the light is on at 100% intensity. After some period of no-motion, such as about 60 seconds, the lighting slowly dims to around 20% of full brightness. When it senses movement again, the lighting slowly ramps up to 100% intensity.

Abstract: A pouch for dispensing a squeezable animal treat includes a flexible, squeezable wall with an interior volume and a spoon integral and non-removably secured to the body. The spoon has a storage configuration and a dispensing configuration.

Abstract: A faucet includes a faucet body having a base, a support arm cantilevered from the base, and a bracket formed on a free end of the support arm. A flexible hose has one end coupled to the faucet body. A spray head is coupled to the other end of the flexible hose such that the flexible hose has a fixed length between the faucet body and the spray head. The spray head has an outer surface with a recess formed therein and is configured to receive the bracket such that the spray head is releasably coupled to the faucet body.

Abstract: A composition and process for making pet food treats is described herein. Auxiliary ingredients are combined to form a meat mixture. The meat mixture is formed into portions. The portions of meat mixture are positioned on a chew stick that comprises rawhide. The pet treat gives the appearance of a grilled shish kabob, where the meat portions are meant for initial taste, while the chew stick will provide the dog with a longer-lasting chewing portion.

Abstract: An electronic lock with a lock assembly that includes a bolt movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The electronic lock includes a motor configured to drive the bolt between the extended position and the retracted position. A controller is provided that is configured to control actuation of the motor to selectively move the bolt between the extended position and the retracted position. The electronic lock includes a user interface configured to output information about the electronic lock. A misalignment scoring means is provided for detecting interference to movement of the bolt between the extended position and the retracted position and determining a lock misalignment score based on the detected interference. The user interface identifies the lock misalignment score.

The interior chassis includes an interior trim portion, an interior handle mount rotatably attached to the interior trim portion, and an interior spindle portion rotatable with the interior handle mount. The exterior chassis includes an exterior trim portion, an exterior handle mount rotatably attached to the exterior trim portion, an exterior spindle portion rotatable with the exterior handle mount and axially aligned with the interior handle mount, and a mounting post extending toward the interior chassis from the exterior trim portion offset from the exterior spindle portion. The alignment guide is removably attached to the interior trim portion and is formed of a resilient material. The alignment guide extends toward the exterior chassis from the interior chassis and includes an aperture aligned to receive the mounting post.

Abstract: A method and apparatus used to secure a faucet to a countertop includes a brace with legs joined together at a nut, thereby allowing the legs to pivot about a horizontal axis of the nut. The nut is joined to a threaded rod that extends from a base of a faucet. The legs of the brace pivot such that the legs are both parallel to the threaded rod with one part of the brace above the horizontal axis of the nut and one part of the brace below the horizontal axis of the nut. The threaded rod and brace may then be inserted into a countertop mounting hole. The threaded rod is rotated from above the countertop, thereby drawing the brace towards the countertop and securing the faucet.

Abstract: A method for detecting a handed configuration of a door includes providing an electronic lock, which includes a latch assembly that includes a bolt movable between an extended position and a retracted position and a motor that is configured to drive the bolt between the extended position and the retracted position. The latch assembly includes a control circuit for controlling the motor to selectively move the bolt, at least one sensor in electrical communication with the control circuit, and at least one orientation indicator. The method includes detecting the presence of the at least one the orientation indicator and identifying a handed configuration based on the detection by the at least one sensor. The method includes driving, by the control circuit, the motor based on the identified handed configuration. The control circuit identifies the handed configuration without moving the bolt between the extended position and the retracted position.

Abstract: A filter arrangement for an aquarium is disclosed. The filter arrangement can include a housing assembly, a pump assembly, a transfer tube assembly, and a valve assembly for controlling water flow through the transfer tube assembly. The transfer tube assembly can include a tube structure within which a valve body of the valve assembly is rotatably disposed. The tube structure can be formed from a first tube half mated to a second tube half to permanently secure the valve body within the tube structure. A valve operator can be connected to the valve body to advantageously allow a user to manipulate the flow of water through the transfer tube assembly. Control of water flow through the filter arrangement is beneficial for obtaining a desired water flow for a certain aquarium size and application and for reducing flow during certain periods, such as during feeding.
