  • Patent number: 5874819
Abstract: A control system for an electrical motor drive for moving a door between end positions. The two end positions are detected by the control system, and an increment detector associated with the motor drive reproduces the movement cycle of the door. A stop associated with the motor drive marks an end position of the door that corresponds to the open position thereof. This open position is treated as a reference point. A pulse storage device is set to a specific value at this reference point and initiates the beginning of a pulse sequence to reproduce movement of the object between the end positions. The pulse sequence is compared for coincidence with pulses produced by the increment detector upon movement of the door into the opposite end position that corresponds to its closed position.

  • Patent number: 5597367
Abstract: An apparatus having two pistons journalled elastically yieldable counter to tensioning direction. As a consequence of double-acting construction, impacts or shocks of an endless drive and with that wear of a primary-side drive element, that is that of a tooth belt or chain connecting the crank shaft with the cam shaft can be avoided. If during operation of the apparatus moreover shocks or impacts arise and occur in the endless drive, then the pistons can yield elastically so that tensioning shoes fastened on the pistons are not subject to any increased wear. As a consequence of resilient damping of the shocks or impacts, the entire apparatus is also less strongly burdened and loaded so that a long life expectancy is assured. As a consequence of the elastically yieldable journalling, the pistons are always again loaded into the tensioning positioning thereof so that the tensioning of the endless drive is not influenced thereby.

  • Patent number: 5417241
Abstract: A valve arrangement is so constructed that a pressure limitation is attainable with minimal parts expenditure and without additional structural volume in a cost advantageous manner. On a shift piston of a pathway valve, a valve member of a pressure valve is arranged therewith. The pressure valve is installed within the structural volume of the pathway valve. Via a slight modification of the shift piston of the pathway valve and installation of the valve member as a single additional structural part there is eliminated additional pressure valve structure and system connection thereof necessary with known valve arrangement. With that the inventive valve arrangement fulfills preconditions made as to a mass product including particularly nominal structural volume, nominal number of structural parts, nominal disturbance susceptibility and extremely cost-advantageous production manufacturing.
