Abstract: A vehicle seat has a seating part and a seat back. The seating part and the seat back define a gap therebetween and the gap is formed on the front face of the vehicle seat. A recessed opening is formed on the front face of the vehicle seat on a side of the seating part relative to the gap, and the recessed opening has an anchor to which a child safety seat is anchored. The vehicle seat has a flat, plate-like cover member that is provided on the front face of the vehicle seat and is capable of covering the opening. The cover member has a base-end portion fixed to the vehicle seat and a free-end portion that is not fixed to the vehicle seat and can be freely inserted into the gap. A hard plate is provided in the free-end portion of the cover member.
Abstract: A vehicle seat includes a pair of side frames, a seat back which includes a pair of connecting parts which respectively support the pair of side frames to be tiltable to a front side of a seat, and a seat belt which includes an upper body restricting part, which restricts an upper body of an occupant in the seat back, and in which the upper body restricting part is moored in the side frame. The connecting part which supports the side frame includes a base part which is fixed in a frame of the seat cushion, and a force limiter part which is interposed between the base part and the side frame and allows tilting of the side frame through a plastic deformation when a tensile force exceeding a predetermined value is loaded on the upper body restricting part of the seat belt.

Abstract: A seat apparatus equipped with a seat cover that covers at least part of the seat apparatus surface and is formed by sewing a plurality of skin material pieces together, an operation unit for receiving an operation from an operator, and a covering material for covering the operation unit, wherein: the covering material is formed as part of the skin material pieces, or is formed by sewing a member that is separate from the skin material pieces to the skin material pieces; and a projection is formed that projects in the outward direction from the seat cover when the operation unit is covered.
Abstract: In the case of a seat with an armrest on an automobile, an armrest lock mechanism may be released by, for example, the gravitational acceleration (G) in the event of vehicle collision. Accordingly, it is necessary to provide an anti-G spring for biasing to prevent the lock mechanism from being easily released. The purpose of the present invention is to provide an armrest unlocking device that enables a decrease in size of the anti-G spring. In order to solve the problem, provided is an armrest unlocking device in gear, the device operating such that the locking of the lock gear and the sector gear can be released by operating a lever link bracket so as to raise the lock gear, wherein the lock gear has a center of rotation thereof aligned with the position of the center of gravity.

The vehicle seat has a seat cushion (2) serving as the sitting surface of the seat, a seatback (3) serving as the backrest of the seat, and a headrest (4) protecting the head and neck of an occupant. The surface of at least one of the seat cushion and the seatback is provided with a cover formed of a cloth including an upholstery material (6), a cushion material (8), and a heat-shrinkable material (9). The cover is stitched so that a plurality of bumps and dips are formed on the surface thereof.
Abstract: A vehicular seat capable of reducing a tensile force, which acts on a sewing thread in a webbing sewn part, enables desired expanding operation of a side air bag in the case of emergency. The vehicular seat has an air bag body, provided in the side part of the seat back, which tear-opens the extending part of the trim cover by expansion, to expand from the seat back. A wrap-sewn part, with its terminal end wrap-folded, is provided at an end sewn to the trim cover. The wrap-sewn part has an overlap part where the webbing is overlapped, and a non-overlap part provided at an end of the overlap part in a direction along a sewing line of sewing to the trim cover. The wrap-sewn part is sewn over the overlap and the non-overlap part with respect to the trim cover.

The seat back includes a back frame having an opening and a pipe frame comprising a pipe member, and the pipe frame includes a distal end part. The lower part of the pipe frame extends through the opening such that the distal end part is located inside a space defined by the back frame and the reclining device, and the lower part of the pipe frame is fixed to the back frame at the opening. In a seat for vehicles which has a flip-up mechanism to shift a seat cushion frame (200) disposed on a base part (5) from a normal seating posture (200-1) to a flipped-up posture (200-2), the flip-up mechanism includes: a support leg part (301) having one end connected to the seat cushion frame (200) rotatably around a first rotation shaft (303) and the other end connected to the base part (5) rotatably around a second rotation shaft (302); a guide part (201a) to be engaged with the one end of the support leg part (301) to guide the one end so as to lift the one end; and a coil spring (305) applying a biasing force so as to have the one end guided by the guide part (201a) and flip up a portion (303) connected with the seat cushion frame (200).

Abstract: A trim cover includes: a plurality of skin materials; and a sewing part formed by sewing two skin materials of the plurality of skin materials with multiple rows of seams which extend in parallel with a sewing line of the two skin materials. In the trim cover formed by sewing the plurality of skin materials, the inclining direction of the seam allowances of the two sewn skin materials can be easily made constant so as to suppress the meandering of the sewing line of the two skin materials, and the appearance quality of the vehicle seat covered with the trim cover can be improved.

Abstract: Regarding a method of a sewing process for a trim cover of a vehicle seat provided with a decorative band, conventionally, a decorative band made up of a covering and wadding is sewn to a member of a trim cover similarly made up of a covering and wadding. Because of this, an area where a decorative band is sewn has an increased thickness, causing discomfort when an occupant sits. To address this, in the example embodiment, a sewn covering is manufactured by sewing together coverings for a portion of a trim cover and a decorative band and sewing decorative stitching through the sewn ends, and then the sewn covering and wadding are overlaid on each other to sew their borders together. This makes it possible to reduce the thickness of an area where the decorative band is sewn and reduce the discomfort when an occupant sits.

The height of the lid front part can be changed by a prescribed distance, and the distance from the lid front part to a passenger can be reduced by a prescribed distance.
