  • Patent number: 10114163
Abstract: An optical component with image compensation is formed by a plurality of optical fibers arranged and connected in the same direction. A section of the optical component includes an output face, an input face, and a lateral face. The output face is formed by sections at one end of the optical fibers respectively, and each of the sections is a perfect circle or a regular polygon. The input face is formed by sections at the other end of the optical fibers respectively, and each of the sections is noncircular or is a irregular polygonal. The lateral face extends in the same direction as the optical fibers. Thereby, images shown on display devices have preset luminous intensity no matter if users are located in front of or beside the display devices.

  • Publication number: 20150378094
Abstract: An optical fiber with image enhancement is provided with, in combination an elongated optical fiber unit including an image input surface on a bottom, an image output surface on a top, and a light guide member between the image input surface and the image output surface. The elongated optical fiber unit is a triangular sectional structure having a vertical surface and an inclined surface, and length of the image output surface is greater than that of the image input surface. The elongated optical fiber unit is configured to seamlessly fasten in a joining portion of two rectangular panels so that light is configured to pass through the image input surface, the light guide member, and the image output surface.

  • Patent number: 8197256
Abstract: A fiber optics dental post includes a resin body and plural fiber optics center shafts; wherein the resin body includes an outer peripheral face, a receiving irradiation portion, and a bottom; each of the fiber optics center shafts pierces through and is fixed in the resin body, and has a receiving irradiation end and a light-guide irradiation end; each receiving irradiation end placed on the receiving irradiation portion of the resin body is used to receive the light irradiating on the receiving irradiation portion, and each light-guide irradiation end is respectively placed on the outer peripheral face and at the bottom of the resin body, thus the light received by each receiving irradiation end is propagated to the outer peripheral face and the bottom of the resin body through the light-guide irradiation end for irradiation, so as to effectively enhance the adhesion strength of the dental post.

  • Patent number: 7861558
Abstract: A method of making a multi-fiber assembly with irregular hexagonal array, which includes the steps of forming a plurality of primitives each made of a plurality of fibers, said fibers having cylindrical outer surfaces of same diameter and being arranged in an irregular hexagonal array, said irregular hexagonal array having six sides wherein three alternate sides of said primitive are each composed of n fibers and the other three alternate sides of said primitive 11 are each composed of n?1 fibers; and bringing together said primitives in such a way that sides with n fibers of said primitives are in contact with sides with n?1 fibers of other primitive thereby arranging said fibers at a central portion among said primitives in alignment with one another and therefore preventing said fibers at said central portion from squeezing one another.
