Abstract: A refrigerant-transporting hose having excellent low-refrigerant permeability, acid resistance, and flexibility includes a tubular resin layer for contacting with a refrigerant, in which the resin layer is formed of a resin composition containing (A) an aliphatic polyamide; (B) a semi-aromatic polyamide; and (C) an elastomer, in which a weight mixing ratio “component (A)/component (B)” between the component (A) and the component (B) is 95/5 to 60/40, and the component (A) and the component (B) are in a compatible state.

Abstract: A fluid-filled type vibration damping device including an elastic movable member attached to a partition member. The elastic movable member includes a clasped portion clasped by the partition member and a switching portion provided to an outer peripheral side of the clasped portion and positioned within a second orifice passage. An abutting portion is provided to the switching portion and projects to lengthwise opposite sides of the orifice passage. A switching mechanism is constituted for opening the orifice passage through a gap formed between the switching portion and the inside face of the orifice passage while closing the orifice passage by abutment of the abutting portion against the inside face of the orifice passage by means of a tilting motion of the switching portion relative to the clasped portion through elastic deformation of a thin portion provided between the clasped portion and the switching portion.

Abstract: A resin composition for a refrigerant-transporting hose, including: a semi-aromatic polyamide resin (A) as a main component; an aliphatic polyamide resin (B); and an elastomer (C), in which the aliphatic polyamide resin (B) is dispersed in a phase formed of the semi-aromatic polyamide resin (A) and the elastomer (C), which is not crosslinked, is incorporated in the form of particles into the dispersed aliphatic polyamide resin (B). Abstract: A flexible conductive material of the present invention includes an elastomer and a conductive material including silver at least in a surface. The conductive material is chemically bonded to the elastomer directly or indirectly and is thus incorporated into a mesh structure of the elastomer. Volume resistivity is 1×10?2 ?·cm or less in a state where the flexible conductive material is expanded by 10% in one axis direction. The flexible conductive material of the present invention is flexible and expandable/contractable and hardly increases in electrical resistance even after repeated expansion and contraction. A method of manufacturing the flexible conductive material of the present invention includes preparing a rubber composition including a rubber polymer composed of the elastomer component, the conductive material, and a reactive compound capable of being chemically bonded to both the elastomer and the conductive material and mixed when necessary; and cross-linking the prepared rubber composition.

The conductive roll 1 has a rubber elastic portion formed of a rubber material including a carbon-carbon double bond and exhibiting electric conductivity. The surface of the rubber elastic portion is exposed as the surface of the roll. An organic group including one or more groups selected from silicone groups and fluorine-containing groups is bonded through an isocyanuric acid skeleton to the surface of the rubber elastic portion. Abstract: A fluid filled type vibration damping device including: a partition member having a communication passage connecting a pressure receiving and equilibrium chambers; an obstructing rubber elastic plate juxtaposed against the communication passage from an equilibrium chamber side, adapted to obstruct the communication passage, and arranged to be exposed to pressure of the pressure receiving and the equilibrium chamber at both faces; and a constraining member provided for retaining an outer peripheral section of the obstructing rubber elastic plate in contact against the partition member at multiple locations. The constraining member provides an opening/closing control member operated to induce the obstructing rubber elastic plate to push against the partition member and close off the communication passage, and to induce elastic deformation of the obstructing rubber elastic plate to be separated from the partition member.
Abstract: A piping structure for transporting a fuel arranged between an engine and a fuel tank, is constructed by use of a resin tube that is formed in a straight tubular shape. The resin tube is flexed and bent at one or more points along a longitudinal direction of the resin tube to define one or more bent portions and thereby is provided with a predetermined bent shape. The resin tube is fixed in a motor vehicle body so as to retain the bent portions and thereby assembled in the motor vehicle body.
Abstract: A modified natural rubber particle having carbon-carbon double bonds assigned to multifunctional vinyl monomers graft-copolymerized onto the surface of the modified natural rubber particle, which is prepared by graft-copolymerization of multifunctional vinyl monomers having two or more carbon-carbon double bonds onto natural rubber particles or deproteinized natural rubber particles. One of the methods for producing a modified natural rubber particle includes the steps of: forming inclusion complex of the multifunctional vinyl monomers having two or more carbon-carbon double bonds with a guest-protecting agent to protect at least one of the double bonds of the multifunctional vinyl monomers; graft-copolymerizing the resulting inclusion complex onto natural rubber particles or deproteinized natural rubber particles; and deprotecting the protected double bonds by removing the guest-protecting agent from the obtained graft-copolymer.

Abstract: The present invention provides a urethane foam molded product that has high thermal conductivity with minimal change to its physical properties. A simple method for producing the same is also provided. The urethane foam molded product includes a base material formed of a polyurethane foam, and a thermal conductive filler mixed in the base material and oriented to form mutual connections. The thermal conductive filler is formed of composite particles that include thermal conductive particles formed of a nonmagnetic material, and magnetic particles adhered to the surfaces of the thermal conductive particles.

Abstract: A fluid-filled active vibration damping device including a partition member having a holding space formed therein and a movable membrane installed in the holding space. A filter orifice tuned to a higher frequency than an orifice passage is formed at one wall part of the holding space facing to one surface of the movable membrane, and the holding space is in communication with one of a pressure receiving fluid chamber and an excitation fluid chamber through the filter orifice. An open hole is formed on the other wall part of the holding space facing to the other surface of the movable membrane opposite to the one surface in the thickness direction, and the holding space is in communication with the other of the two fluid chambers through the open hole. A through hole pierces the movable membrane in the thickness direction.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing a heat insulating laminate structure having an excellent solar radiation shielding capability as well as an excellent radio wave transparency. The method includes placing a transparent laminate film between two transparent substrates, the transparent laminate film having on at least one side of a transparent polymer film a laminated layer structure in which a metal oxide layer containing an organic component and a metal layer are laminated and grooves having widths of 30 ?m or less are formed with dividing the metal layer; bonding the two substrates to each other through the transparent laminate film under application of a pressure; and promoting division of the metal layer in the transparent laminate film by the applied pressure to increase an overall surface resistance.
Abstract: An anti-vibration rubber device is capable of advantageously preventing cracks from occurring in a constricted portion because of a long time use in a high-temperature environment. A rubber ring having higher resistance to gas permeability than a main rubber portion is externally inserted in a tension-deformed state to a stress concentration portion of a constricted portion in the main rubber portion that connects a first attachment member and a second attachment member. Due to a restoring force from the tension-deformed state, the rubber ring is tightly attached without being bonded to an outer peripheral surface of the stress concentration portion.
Abstract: A vibration damping bushing including: an inner axial member; an outer cylindrical member through which the inner axial member is inserted; a main rubber elastic body elastically connecting the two members; and a stopper member that is fitted onto the inner axial member as a component of a first stopper mechanism that limits relative displacement of the inner axial member against the outer cylindrical member to one side in an axial direction. The inner axial member is formed with a latching depression that opens toward an outer periphery thereof, and the stopper member is provided with a latching piece that protrudes outward in the axial direction. The latching piece is engaged with the latching depression so as to provide a slipping out prevention mechanism for preventing the stopper member from slipping out from the inner axial member.
