    Abstract: A form changing toy includes a moving part, a rotating part, a first stopper, a motor, and a holding mechanism. The rotating part is configured to move the moving part in first and second directions. An operation direction of the moving part is changed between the first and second directions at an inflection point of the rotating part. The rotation of the rotating part is configured to stop rotating in a first rotation direction when the rotating part rotating contacts the first stopper. The holding mechanism is configured to hold the moving part in a first state at a location between an inflection point and the first stopper, and to release the holding when the rotating part starts rotating in a second rotation direction opposite to the first rotation direction after the stopping at the first stopper.
