The system comprises an elongated tank means for mounting in a vertical attitude; a gas collection and dispersion means disposed within the tank means to effectuate upward ascent of collected gas; a solids collection means fed by gravitational separation; control gas monitor and control means to operatively monitor and control system operation; and a gas outlet means.
