Abstract: An electrode/separator stack for a battery cell, comprising at least an electrode, in particular a cathode, and a counter electrode, in particular an anode. The electrode is an integral part of a laminated composite, in which in each case a separator is laminated onto both sides of the electrode, and the two separators protrude beyond the electrode with an overhang on the edge side. An edge-side gap between the two separator overhangs is in particular completely filled with an edge protection film.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for determining the position of a vehicle, in which highly accurate localization data for positions of the vehicle are determined when traveling along a route. Odometric measured variables for the own odometry of the vehicle are captured when traveling along the route. The highly accurate localization data determined and the odometric measured variables captured are jointly evaluated. The own odometry of the vehicle is corrected on the basis of the evaluation. An error model is used to calculate a vehicle-specific drift for the own odometry of the vehicle and to continually correct the own odometry of the vehicle provided highly accurate localization data can be determined. The corrected own odometry of the vehicle can then be used in areas in which highly accurate localization data cannot be determined in order to determine the position of the vehicle.
Abstract: A method for evaluating a sensor signal of an exhaust NOx sensor, which is disposed downstream of a three-way catalytic converter in an exhaust system of a spark ignition internal combustion engine. An ammonia factor is modeled downstream of the three-way catalytic converter using an ammonia formation model. A NOx emission is modeled in the exhaust system downstream of the three-way catalytic converter using a NOx model. The modeled ammonia emissions and the modeled NOx emission are separated by a separation algorithm using the sensor signal of the exhaust NOx sensor. The separation algorithm provides quantitative information about the tailpipe ammonia emissions and the tailpipe NOx emissions of the spark ignition internal combustion engine. An engine control unit and an internal combustion engine for carrying out such a method are also provided.
Abstract: Technologies and techniques for carrying out an assisted lane change onto a deceleration lane, during which an intervention in an acceleration device may be carried out in an at least partially assisted manner as a function of a driver input on a driving lane of the roadway. The lane change from the driving lane onto the deceleration lane may be carried out in an at least partially assisted manner, wherein swarm data are received from at least one further motor vehicle, which carried out a lane change onto the deceleration lane at a crossing, and a change position for the lane change of the motor vehicle is determined as a function of the received crossing position. The lane change is carried out at the determined change position. Other aspects relate to a computer program product and to an assistance system.
Abstract: Approaches, techniques, and mechanisms are disclosed for packaging electric power components. A power module comprises: a three-dimensional (3D) cooling structure that has a plurality of planar sides; a first set of mountable power components that are mounted on a first planar side in the plurality of planar sides of the 3D cooling structure; a second set of mountable power components that are mounted on a second planar side in the plurality of planar sides of the 3D cooling structure. The second planar side represents an opposing side, of the 3D cooling structure, to the first planar side. The 3D cooling structure includes an interior space containing one or more cooling channels in which cooling fluid is to flow. The interior space of the 3D cooling structure is spatially surrounded by other planar sides in the plurality of planar sides in combination with the first and second planar sides.

Abstract: A lighting device for a motor vehicle, having at least one light guide, which is formed planar, and having at least one illuminant. Light rays from the illuminant can be coupled or are coupled into the light guide via a light incoupling surface assigned to the light guide. Incoupled light rays are deflected via at least one light outcoupling structure of the light guide in the direction of at least one light outcoupling surface of the light guide and are again outcoupled from the light guide via the light outcoupling surface. Abstract: A drive unit for a steer-by-wire system for a vehicle having a motor for providing a drive power to a control rod of the wheel actuator. A sensor device determines the position of the control rod, wherein the sensor device has a first sensor unit and at least one second sensor unit. The first sensor unit is designed to detect an angle of a rotor shaft of the motor, and the second sensor unit is designed to detect an angle of an auxiliary shaft which is mechanically operatively connected to the rotor shaft. A transmission device provides the mechanical operative connection between the rotor shaft and the auxiliary shaft. A controller actuates the sensor device and/or determines the position of the control rod of the wheel actuator. The first sensor unit and second sensor unit use different measuring principles.

Abstract: An operator control device for controlling vehicle functions in a transportation vehicle, a system, and a corresponding method. Provided are operator control elements on a steering wheel and a display indicator to be used for controlling vehicle functions. Operator control zones/regions with which functions are selected and controlled are located on the left and the right of the steering wheel in a position that is ergonomically easily reached by the driver's thumbs. The contexts/functions to be controlled in each case are depicted in the display element in the driver's line of sight here, so that diversion of the driver's eyes is minimized. The operator control elements are of a symmetrical design.
