Abstract: A monitoring camera has a base, a camera module and a casing. The base has a parapet formed on the base. The parapet has a memory slot and at least one pair of guide slots formed oppositely on the parapet. Each guide slot has a notch extending toward the bottom of the parapet. The casing corresponds to and covers the parapet and has at least one pair of guide protrusions formed on the casing. The guide protrusions respectively engage corresponding guide slots. When unscrewing the casing, the guide protrusions will correspondingly move and be mounted in the notches and the memory slot is accessible. Therefore, the casing need not to be completely detached from the base to allow a removable memory to be installed or removed easily.

Abstract: A switching mechanism for a video camera includes: a control unit; a driving device connected with and controlled by the control unit; a first belt pulley connected with the driving device; a second belt pulley smaller than the first belt pulley in diameter; a belt looped around the first and second belt pulleys for power transmission, and including a first protuberance; a translation member provided with a second protuberance so that through a loose fitting connection between the two protuberances, the translation member is driven to move; and a positioning element having a positioning plane, at least two inclines, and at least two top surfaces, wherein the positioning plane and the at least two inclines are designed to contact the second protuberance of the translation member alternately so as to restrict and reposition the translation member.

Abstract: A switching mechanism for a camera includes: a control unit; a driving device coupled with and actuated by the control unit; a first gear set coupled with the driving device; a second gear coupled with the first gear set and centrally provided with a rotary shaft having a shaft hole formed with threads; a spindle being female-connected to the shaft hole and which has an axial surface formed with outer threads corresponding to the threads of the shaft hole, thus allowing the second gear to move along and relative to the spindle; and a translation member positioned perpendicular to the spindle and provided with a rack for engaging with the second gear and thus driving the translation member to move perpendicular to the spindle. The second gear drives or does not drive the rack as the engagement therebetween is made or broken.

Abstract: A ceiling mount includes a base adapted to engage with one side of the ceiling, a core extending through the base to securely connect to the base and having a cylindrical body provided with at least one indentation, at least one arm selectively extending out of and movably received in the at least one indentation of the cylindrical body for engagement with the other side of the ceiling so as to provide a supporting force, at least one threaded bolt rotatably mounted in the cylindrical body and operably connected to the at least one arm to allow the at least one arm to extend out of and move relative to the cylindrical body in response to the rotational movement of the at least one threaded bolt and a stop to avoid the at least one arm from further extending.

Abstract: A surveillance camera assembly with external adjusting ring has a camera and a cover. The camera comprises a lens assembly, two adjusting rings, and a mounting ring. The lens assembly has a lens and two adjusting rod extending out of the lens and being capable of rotating around to adjust the lens. The mounting ring has two annular surfaces formed and extending from opposite ends. The two adjusting rings are rotatably mounted on a respective annular surface and have a clip formed on an inner surface to correspond and receive a free end of the adjusting rod of the lens such that rotation of the external adjusting rings will rotate the adjusting rod of the lens assembly to do adjustment.

Abstract: A shockproof image-storing device has a mounting guide, a socket assembly and a memory module. The mounting guide is a hollow rectangular parallelepiped and has two sides and two mounting tabs. Each mounting tab has a connecting rod. The socket assembly has a front face, a rear face, a socket, two alignment prongs, two mounting collars, two resilient elements and a backing panel. The socket and alignment prongs are formed on the front face. The mounting collars are mounted on the rear face correspond to the connecting rods. The resilient elements are mounted around the mounting collars, and the backing panel is connected to the connecting rods. The memory module has a rear end, a connector and two alignment holes. The connector is mounted on the rear end and corresponds to the socket. The alignment holes are formed in the rear end and correspond to the alignment prongs.
