Abstract: A cabinet includes a frame portion and a door hingedly connected to the frame portion. A member is rigidly connected to the door and includes a flange portion extending from and spaced apart from an outer surface of the door. A handle is pivotably connected to the door and includes a user graspable portion disposed between the first outer surface of the door and the flange portion of the member. A catch member is rigidly connected to the user graspable portion and extends through a slot in the door for interlocking engagement with a retention feature disposed on the frame portion. When the door is in a closed position, handle is pivotable with respect to the door from a door retention position to a door release position for disengagement of the catch member from the door retention feature.

Abstract: A slide assembly includes a catch assembly secured to a first rail member, and a second rail member in sliding engagement with the first rail member. The second rail member includes a post extending laterally towards the first rail member. The catch assembly includes a catch member pivotable between a post retaining position and a post releasing position. When the catch member is in the post releasing position, movement of the second rail member from an extended position to a retracted position causes the post to engage a bearing surface of the catch member to pivot the catch member from the post releasing position to the post retaining position. The bearing surface of the catch member is contoured to provide substantially continuous and uniform engagement between the bearing surface and the post as the post pivots the catch member from the post releasing position to the post retaining position.

Abstract: A drawer storage container having a plurality of lockable drawers includes a movable lock bar with a drawer catch associated with each of the lockable drawers. The lock bar is moved between an unlocked position and a locked position with an actuator that is coupled to a locking mechanism, such as for example, a key cylinder. Each drawer includes a striker mechanism that is configured to be held by the drawer catch when the lock bar is in the locked position. The actuator includes a release that allows the lock bar to be moved by the striker from the locked to the unlocked position when the striker impacts a camming surface on the catch.
