    Abstract: A method for controlling an antenna array is provided, which includes following steps. Associations with a plurality of mobile devices are established, and at least one characteristic parameter table corresponding to the mobile devices is generated. When a plurality of transmission request signals are received simultaneously and the mobile devices are divided into a user group, a multi-user antenna index of the antenna array is generated based on the at least one characteristic parameter table, and a plurality of data streams corresponding to the mobile devices are transmitted simultaneously through the antenna array. When the transmission request signals are received simultaneously and the mobile devices are not divided into the user group, a single-user antenna index of the antenna array is generated based on the at least one characteristic parameter table, and the data streams corresponding to the mobile devices are transmitted one-by-one through the antenna array.

    Abstract: An electronic device for detecting an antenna element includes a sensing circuit, a comparison circuit, an interface circuit, an internal LNA (Low Noise Amplifier), a bypass path, and a selection circuit. The sensing circuit generates a sensing voltage according to an input current. The input current is relative to the antenna element. The comparison circuit compares the sensing voltage with a first reference voltage, so as to generate a first control voltage. The sensing circuit is coupled through the interface circuit to an RF (Radio Frequency) node. The interface circuit is configured to reduce the interference between the antenna element and the electronic device. The selection circuit selectively couples the internal LNA or the bypass path to the RF node according to the first control voltage.

In each of the antenna modes, the smart antenna transmits a test datum and receives a feedback datum according to the test datum, the processor performs a time reversal algorithm to the feedback datum so as to obtain a time reversal datum, the processor calculates an indicator according to the feedback datum and the time reversal datum, and the storage device stores the feedback datum, the time reversal datum, and the indicator. The processor compares all of the indicators with each other and controls the smart antenna to select the final mode of the antenna modes according to a comparison between all of the indicators.
