Abstract: A method of updating firmware to a peripheral device of a computer system in a computer network. The computer system includes a host, a system on chip (SoC), and a basic input/output system (BIOS). The host is coupled to the SoC, the SoC is coupled to the BIOS, and the BIOS is coupled to a peripheral device. The method includes an operating system (OS) running on the host controlling the SoC to initiate a firmware update to the peripheral device, in response to the firmware update, the SoC enabling the BIOS to enter a unified extensible firmware interface (UEFI), the UEFI executing an update script to update a peripheral firmware to the peripheral device, and performing a reboot to the complete firmware update to the peripheral device.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a base, a multi-stage sensor, a top cover, and a side cover. The multi-stage sensor is configured to sense a sensed area. The top cover includes a top-sensed element, and the top cover is detachably connected to a top side of the base, so that the top-sensed element can be selectively in or not in the sensed area. The side cover includes a side-sensed element, and the side cover is detachably adjacent to a front side of the base, so that the side-sensed element can be selectively in or not in the sensed area. In response to that only the top-sensed element is in the sensed area, the multi-stage sensor outputs a first signal. In response to that neither the top-sensed element nor the side-sensed element is in the sensed area, the multi-stage sensor outputs a second signal.

Abstract: A data processing device includes a base plate and an electronic module. The base plate includes N driving portions. The electronic module includes an electronic component, a tray and a recognition mechanism. The tray is configured to support the electronic component and includes N slots. The tray is disposed on the base plate, such that an i-th driving portion of the N driving portions is disposed in an i-th slot of the N slots. The recognition mechanism is disposed on the tray. The recognition mechanism includes N interfering portions and N receiving recesses. When the tray moves with respect to the base plate toward a first direction, the i-th driving portion moves within the i-th slot toward a second direction to push an i-th interfering portion of the N interfering portions to move, such that the i-th interfering portion extends into an i-th receiving recess of the N receiving recesses.

The heat exchanger is disposed in the tank and is at least partially immersed in the first fluid in the liquid state. The condenser is disposed in the tank. The pipe connects the heat exchanger and the condenser. A second fluid is provided to the pipe, and a temperature of the second fluid is higher than a preset value. When an ambient temperature of the electronic device is lower than the preset value, the second fluid flows through the heat exchanger to raise the ambient temperature of the electronic device. The invention also provides a server system.
