  • Patent number: 7274267
Abstract: A balun in which the phase shift may be reduced significantly is disclosed. The balun has three lines, i.e. a first line b, a second line a and a third line c, arranged in parallel with the ground surface. The second line a and the third line c are arranged at the same height from the ground surface GC, the longitudinal length of each respective one of the first line b, second line a and third line c are specified to be equal to a quarter (ΒΌ) of the wavelength at the central frequency in the working band, and the capacitance Ca between the second line a and the ground surface GC is specified to be equal to the capacitance Cab between the second line a and the first line b.

  • Patent number: 7265717
Abstract: One of the objects of this invention is to realize an antenna having low reflection loss over an extremely wideband. The antenna of the present invention is provided with a dielectric substrate, a plurality of antenna conductors formed on one surface of the dielectric substrate that are pseudo self-complementary on the surface, and a plurality of feed conductors symmetrical with respect to symmetrical surfaces of the antenna conductors, wherein a gap for a wavelength of 1/10 or less that of the wavelength of a usage frequency in a vacuum is provided at a center of rotational symmetry between the plurality of antenna conductors.

  • Patent number: 7250834
Abstract: There is provided a bandpass filter for a differential signal applicable to a device having a wide passband, being a device for transmitting a signal using a differential signal. Respective lines 1 and 2 and lines 3 and 4 are provide on two surfaces P1 and P2 at an inner layer of a dielectric body 9. Each two lines are arranged symmetrically about the same plane of symmetry C, and the length of each line is a quarter wavelength at the center frequency of a used band. Reference numerals 5 and 6 are input/output ends of the lines 1 and 2, and 7 and 8 are input output ends of lines 3 and 4. Opposite ends to the input output ends are open. If a differential signal is input to terminals 5, 6, a differential output appears at the terminals 7, 8. This device works as a bandpass filter.

  • Patent number: 5319159
Abstract: A double-sided printed wiring board includes a base plate having a copper foil laminated on each of the opposite sides thereof. The copper foil-laminated base plate has through-holes extending therethrough, and at least one of the through-holes is internally plated for providing a through-via-hole into which a resin filler is provided and solidified. A closed through-via-hole is thus obtained. The copper foil-laminated base plate including the closed through-via-hole is copper-plated, and a particular wiring pattern is formed thereon. A chip land is formed in alignment with the closed through-via-hole.
