Abstract: A gear drive system includes a securing panel, a first slave gear, a drive gear, and an adjusting structure. The securing panel includes a panel body, a rack, and a rotating shaft. An upper part of the first slave gear is adjacent to the rack and aligned with the rack. The drive gear engages the first slave gear. The adjusting structure includes an elastic element, a slave element pivotally mounted to the panel body, and a third slave gear. The third slave gear defines a rotating hole. The rotating shaft is received in the rotating hole. The second slave gear is movable related to the panel body to enable the rotating shaft to be located in different positions of the rotating hole. The third slave gear is driven to move and rotate. The slave element is driven to rotate to press the elastic element.

Abstract: A signal switching circuit allows a PCIe card access to additional data channels when installation of the PCIe cards on first and second PCIe connectors are detected. First and second PCIe connectors output a first detection signal when each of the first and second PCIe connectors receives a PCIe card. The first and second PCIe connectors output a second detection signal when each of the first and second PCIe connectors does not receive a PCIe card. A first multiplexer receives the first or second detection signal and connects an input terminal to first or second output terminal of the first multiplexer, to transmit PCIe signals to the first or second PCIe connector. A second multiplexer receives the first or second detection signal and connects an input terminal to first or second output terminal of the second multiplexer, to transmit PCIe signals to the first or second PCIe connectors.

Abstract: A charging circuit is used to charge a rechargeable battery. The charging circuit includes a voltage conversion unit and a leakage prevention unit. The voltage conversion unit converts a voltage of a power supply into a charging voltage of the rechargeable battery, and outputs the charging voltage to the leakage prevention unit. When the leakage prevention unit receives the charging voltage, the leakage prevention unit charges the rechargeable battery with the charging voltage. When the leakage prevention unit does not receive the charging voltage, the leakage prevention unit prevents a leakage of the rechargeable battery.

Abstract: An air duct includes a hollow main body defining a through slot, an inlet member and an outlet member connected to opposite ends of the main body. The inlet member includes a top wall, a bottom wall, a first sidewall, and a second sidewall. The second sidewall slantingly extends forward and away from the first sidewall. A space communicating with the through slot is bounded by the top wall, the bottom wall, and the first and second sidewalls. The space has an inlet wider than the through slot. The outlet member is perpendicularly connected to the main body and defines an outlet communicating with the through slot.

Abstract: Method of managing video snapshot of receiving bitstreams of a video and bitstream parameters of the received bitstreams from a server through a network channel. The electronic device is connected to the server. The server encodes the video into an encoded file using an encoder of the server. The encoded file comprises a plurality of bitstreams. The plurality of bitstreams in the encoded file comprising a plurality of enhancement layers. According to a selection of a user of the electronic device, a snapshot grade is determined. According to the received bitstreams and the determined snapshot grade, additional enhancement layers which are not comprised in the received bitstreams are acquired from the encoded file in the server through the network channel. Based on the acquired additional enhancement layers, a video snapshot is generated.

Abstract: A light-emitting diode manufacturing method comprises steps of: providing a flexible material layer having a flexible reflective layer and phosphor glue in the flexible reflective layer; providing a hard material layer having a substrate and an LED chip on the substrate; combining the flexible material layer and the hard material layer together wherein the LED chip inserts into the phosphor glue and is surrounded by the flexible reflective layer; and solidifying the flexible reflective layer and the phosphor glue to form a reflective cup and a phosphor layer, respectively.

Abstract: A fan assembly includes a guide rail, a number of fan brackets slidably mounted to the guide rail, an air blocking member slidably mounted to the guide rail to fill a space between two fan brackets, and a number of fans correspondingly fixed to the fan brackets. To relocate the fans, the fan brackets and the air blocking members are slid out of the guide rail and are remounted to the guide rail in a different order.

Abstract: A manufacturing method for an LED with roughened lateral surfaces comprises following steps: providing an LED wafer with an electrically conductive layer disposed thereon; providing a photoresist layer on the electrically conductive layer; roughening a lateral surface of the electrically conductive layer by wet etching; forming a depression in the LED wafer by dry etching and roughening a sidewall of the LED wafer defining the depression; and disposing two pads respectively in the depression and the conducting layer. The disclosure also provides an LED with roughened lateral surfaces. A roughness of the roughened lateral surfaces is measurable in micrometers.

The information appliance device is connected to a display device, wherein the information appliance device transforms the first multimedia signal into a second multimedia signal capable of displaying through the display device.
