  • Patent number: 8899959
Abstract: A mold for forming a temporary prosthesis has at least two mold members at least partially separable from each other. The at least two mold members cooperatively define a generally enclosed interior cavity for forming the temporary prosthesis. The mold has a securement structure mounted on the at least two mold members for securing the at least two mold members to each other during the forming of the temporary prosthesis. The securement structure is removable from the at least two mold members by hand and without the use of a tool.

  • Publication number: 20090157096
Abstract: A dermatome has a blade that generally defines a plane and a body generally defining a longitudinal axis. The body also that has at least one flat outer surface for engaging the tissue and an end portion that is configured to hold the blade so that the plane of the blade is generally parallel to the longitudinal axis and non-parallel to the flat outer surface at a predetermined angle.

  • Publication number: 20090157095
Abstract: A dermatome has a main body with a first profile and at least one blade assembly with a blade, a size, an orientation corresponding to the main body, and a second profile. The second profile has characteristics corresponding to the first profile to properly orient and locate the at least one blade for proper mounting of the blade to the main body. The profiles are shaped to provide clearance for the second profile to reciprocate relative to the first profile.

  • Patent number: 6830556
Abstract: A debridement extension including a proximal end and a distal end, with the proximal end being adapted for connection to both an irrigation source and a suction source. The debridement extension includes a fitting adjacent the proximal end which includes both an irrigation port and a suction port. An inner cannula and an outer cannula are both attached to the fitting of the debridement extension and are, respectively, in fluid communication with the irrigation port and the suction port. A debridement tip is affixed to the distal end of the debridement extension and is independently in fluid communication with both the irrigation path and the suction path formed by the inner and outer cannulas, respectively.
