The second line of defense is a passive infrared (PIR) detector in the service area, and lights and a loudspeaker to deter theft. The third line of defense is an impact sensor panel covering the security chest, which can be cheaply replaced. Furthermore, the location of the lock, the latching bars, and the hinges cannot be ascertained from the outside of the security chest.
