  • Patent number: 11296836
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for an NR (New Radio Access Technology) user equipment to transmit and receive a signal in a wireless communication system and an apparatus therefor. The method comprises the steps of checking a PDCCH (Physical Downlink Control Channel) order and, if the PDCCH order is checked, initiating a random access procedure. In this case, if a first uplink carrier and a second uplink carrier are configured, the random access procedure is configured to transmit a random access preamble via a specific uplink carrier corresponding to an indicator associated with the PDCCH order among the first uplink carrier and the second uplink carrier.

  • Patent number: 11290942
Abstract: A communications node of a multi-node communications network is disclosed. In embodiments, the communications node includes a communications interface and controller. The controller transitions the clustering status of the communications node to a clusterhead node status. The clusterhead node identifies a cluster of neighboring nodes with which it is in communication by transmitting hello messages identifying the clusterhead node and its status but omitting a one-hop neighbor list. The clusterhead node refines link discovery to the nodes of the multi-node communications network by flooding the network (e.g., via its cluster of neighboring nodes) with routing status messages, which network nodes not part of the dominating set of clusterhead nodes are restricted from sending.

  • Patent number: 11284372
Abstract: Systems and methods of reducing power consumption associated with paging or cDRX mode are described. A wake-up receiver (WUR) wakes up from an idle mode or cDRX state. Whether a wake-up signal (WUS) has been received by the WUR is determined. The WUS is a low-complexity signal that is less complicated than a PDCCH or PDSCH and is repeated multiple times at resource elements as indicated in a configuration from an eNB. If received, a baseband transceiver wakes up for reception of a PDCCH for the UE in a PO when the UE is in the idle mode or a PDSCH for the UE when the UE is in the cDRX state.

  • Patent number: 11277781
Abstract: The proposal concerns a method of adaptive route selection in a node of a wireless mesh communication network. Such method is based on the Reinforcement Learning-based adaptive routing scheme. The proposal includes the idea of estimating initial reward values for the path discovery phase in dependence of the signal strength of the received signal and the number of hops the received route request message (RREQ) or route reply message (RREP) experienced during traversing in the network. Further improvements concern the idea of a feedback reward calculation for the routing absent the path discovery process as well as an improved method of route selection based on calculation of a temperature parameter for a Gibbs-Boltzmann distribution, which allows a dynamic adjustment of the node selection probabilities. Another improvement concerns a part of the reward function calculation, related to an exponential fallback mechanism on packet loss events.

  • Patent number: 11265797
Abstract: A depth and distance-based single-path routing method, in which location information of nodes in network is gathered after initialization is completed, and a location table of whole-network nodes maintained by the sink node is generated. The update mechanism of the uplink Location frame is switched to a unicast triggering update mechanism to execute a depth and energy-based uplink routing algorithm. For a downlink control packet arriving at a specified ID, location information of a node is obtained through the location table to execute a distance and energy-based downlink routing policy. The distance and energy-based downlink routing policy for a downlink control packet arriving at a specified location and a downlink control packet arriving at the specified ID is executed, and a routing recovery algorithm is executed when an “open area” occurs.
