Abstract: Systems and methods for assembling a fuel filler system for use in a vehicle are provided. The fuel filler system includes a closure device assembly and a fuel filler tube. A circumferential rim extends radially outwardly from a first end of the fuel filler tube. The rim has a non-planar cross-sectional shape. The fuel filler system also includes at least one catch member that extends from an inner surface of the closure device assembly. A seal member encircles a portion of the closure device assembly, and is axially spaced apart from the at least one catch member. After the closure device assembly is coupled to the fuel filler tube, the circumferential rim is axially captured between the at least one catch member and the seal member.

The dispenser further includes lid having a lip configured to engage the dispenser body when the dispenser is in a closed position to form a seal. The dispenser further includes a release mechanism having an activation portion and an engagement portion. At least a portion of the activation portion is positioned about an aperture in the sidewall. The engagement portion is positioned in the second interior portion between the sidewall and the lip when the lid is in a closed position.

An attachment flap can be foldably connected to the crown retention panel. The top panel can at least partially overlap the central panel, at least a portion of the crown retention panel can be spaced apart from the side panel in the interior of the carton, and at least a portion of the attachment flap can be at least partially in face-to-face contact with the side panel.

Abstract: A percussionist's towel comprises a terry-cloth towel having a deformable band centrally located between the long edges of the towel and preferably including grommets along the shorter edges of the towel. The deformable band may comprise a pocket filled with microbeads, foam, padding, flocculation, or other substances used for pillows. The towel and deformable band are sound-deadening. The deformable band deters percussion mallets or the like from rolling off the towel when the towel is placed on a music stand that has been set into a generally horizontal position to function as a table.

Abstract: The invention relates to a package for receiving an adapter sleeve for a hip endoprosthesis, the hip endoprosthesis comprising a ball head which has to be pushed onto the adapter sleeve with a defined pushing-on force. For simplification and secure fastening of the ball head on the adapter sleeve, it is proposed according to the invention that a device for the mounting of the ball head on the adapter sleeve is integrated in the package and this device comprises indicating elements which indicate that the defined pushing-on force has been reached when the ball head is pressed onto the adapter sleeve.

Abstract: A front opening wafer container suitable for large wafers such as 450 mm utilizes componentry with separate fasteners to lock the componentry together in an expedient manner providing robust connections and cost efficiencies. A container portion has an open front and receives on a bottom surface a base plate secured by twist lock connectors that also provide recesses for purge grommets. Kinematic coupling components readily and robustly lock onto the base plate. Interior wafer support components latch onto brackets on the side walls utilizing a separate locking insert with holding tabs and locking detents. A wafer retainer provides support and counters enhanced wafer sag associated with 450 mm wafers when the door is installed and seated.

At least a portion of the sidewall of the valve control element deforms when a vacuum is created in the internal cavity of the valve housing so as to facilitate the controllable delivery of a fluid into the valve housing. The sidewall of the valve control element has a variable thickness dimension.

Abstract: A compostable container has a top frame with a top frame opening, a base, an elongate connector coupling the top frame with the base, and a wall. The top end of the wall is coupled to the top frame, the bottom end of the wall is coupled to the base, the first side end of the wall is coupled to the elongate connector, and the second side end of the wall is coupled to the elongate connector, in such a way as to prevent direct exposure of the edges of the wall to the interior volume of the container and any water-based liquid substance contained within the container. The wall is formed of a water-permeable, biodegradable, and compostable material coated with a biodegradable, water-impermeable coating that forms a lining across the interior facing wall surface of the wall.

A sidewall cavity may be formed between an inner sleeve sidewall and an outer sleeve sidewall. The lower end of the outer sleeve forms an elongated loop located below a lowermost edge of the inner sleeve. A flange may extend from the elongated loop upwardly above the lowermost edge of the inner sleeve and is attached to the inner sleeve. The elongated loop may form a loop cavity. The loop cavity may be in fluid communication with the sidewall cavity.

According to embodiments, the package includes a first shell portion having a first closed lip and a second shell portion having a second closed lip. According to embodiments, the seal may be formed by the engagement of an angled outer wall of the first closed lip with a bent or deformed thin wall of the second closed lip. The package may also incorporate one or more elastomeric ancillary face and/or side seals. The first and second shell portions may be joined by a hinge, such as a double hinge. Abstract: The invention provides a packaged tow being characterized in that a carbon fiber precursor tow having a flattened shape in cross section and having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface is layered and packaged in a packaging container in untwisted state. A front end and a back end of the carbon fiber precursor tow thus packaged are placed on a top of the fully-packaged carbon fiber precursor tow. When the front end and a back end of the tow are respectively applied with top/bottom surface identification means to identify top and bottom surfaces thereof, top and bottom surfaces on front ends and back ends of tows packaged in a plurality of packaging containers can be correctly identified and joined. As a result, thread breakage due to heat accumulation in twisted parts in a flame proofing process can be prevented from happening.

Abstract: A lockable child container assembly includes a housing that has a first end wall, a second end wall and a perimeter wall attached to and extending between the first and second ends walls. The housing has a door therein for opening an access aperture in the perimeter wall to allow for accessing of an interior of the housing. A lock is mounted on the housing and releasably locks the door in a closed position covering the access aperture. A mount is attached to the housing and covers a portion of the lock facing outwardly of the housing. A lock actuator is removably mounted on the mount. The lock actuator is extendable through the mount to engage the lock and release door from the closed position. The lock actuator is removably mounted on the mount such that the lock is covered by the lock actuator.
