  • Patent number: 11962742
Abstract: An electronic device may include a lenticular display. The lenticular display may have a lenticular lens film formed over an array of pixels. The display may have a number of independently controllable viewing zones. Each viewing zone displays a respective two-dimensional image. Each eye of the viewer may receive a different one of the two-dimensional images, resulting in a perceived three-dimensional image. The electronic device may include display pipeline circuitry that generates and processes content to be displayed on the lenticular display. Content generating circuitry may initially generate content that includes a plurality of two-dimensional images, each two-dimensional image corresponding to a respective viewing zone. The two-dimensional images may be processed by per-view processing circuitry. Pixel mapping circuitry may be used to map the two-dimensional images to the array of pixels in the lenticular display. After pixel mapping, additional panel-level processing may be performed.

  • Patent number: 11887238
Abstract: A method and system for generating 2D animated lip images synchronizing to an audio signal for an unseen subject. The system receives an audio signal and a target lip image of an unseen target subject as inputs from a user and processes these inputs to extract a plurality of high dimensional audio image features. The lip generator system is meta-trained with training dataset which consists of large variety of subjects' ethnicity and vocabulary. The meta-trained model generates realistic animation for previously unseen face and unseen audio when finetuned with only a few-shot samples for a predefined interval of time. Additionally, the method protects intrinsic features of the unseen target subject.

  • Patent number: 11869175
Abstract: An image reproduction system and methods for providing colorant data to an end device. A method includes extracting general HSV value data for each pixel of an image from image data. For each pixel, the general HSV value data is transformed to generate universal perceived brightness, Bp, and universal perceived chroma, Cp, value data. End-device colorant data associated with the general HSV value data is retrieved for each pixel and scaled using the Bp and Cp value data to obtain scaled end-device colorant data. The scaled end-device colorant data is transmitted to the end device.

  • Patent number: 11861497
Abstract: A system and method implement deep learning on a mobile device to provide a convolutional neural network (CNN) for real time processing of video, for example, to color hair. Images are processed using the CNN to define a respective hair matte of hair pixels. The respective object mattes may be used to determine which pixels to adjust when adjusting pixel values such as to change color, lighting, texture, etc. The CNN may comprise a (pre-trained) network for image classification adapted to produce the segmentation mask. The CNN may be trained for image segmentation (e.g. using coarse segmentation data) to minimize a mask-image gradient consistency loss. The CNN may further use skip connections between corresponding layers of an encoder stage and a decoder stage where shallower layers in the encoder, which contain high-res but weak features are combined with low resolution but powerful features from deeper decoder layers.
