  • Patent number: 10639656
Abstract: A crossover prevention valve for use in a multi-component fluid mixing and dispensing system includes a valve body defining at least two fluid passageways having respective one-way check valves at their outlet ends. A forward end of the valve body cooperates with an interior surface of a dispensing nozzle to define a mixing chamber for chemically reactive fluids prior to discharging the mixed fluids out of the dispensing nozzle. The crossover prevention valve does not permit reverse flow, thereby preventing clogs due to undesired intrusion of one reactant into the flow path of another reactant. Solidified reactants left in the mixing chamber are easily removed from the valve body, permitting the valve body to be reused even after sitting for extended periods.

  • Patent number: 10605409
Abstract: Example implementations relate to Additive Manufacturing (AM) pressurization diffusers. An example diffuser includes an integral component configurable for receiving and diffusing pressurant. Particularly, the integral component includes multiple elements manufactured as a single-piece structure, including an inner filter, outer shell, and flange. The inner filter includes micro-diamond holes that enable pressurant received at an opening of the inner filter to diffuse out of the inner filter and subsequently through holes positioned in a shell surface of the outer shell. The flange can position the diffuser such that the opening of the inner filter is in pressurant communication with a pressurant source (e.g., opening of a tank) enabling the diffuser to receive and diffuse pressurant in a predefined pattern.

  • Patent number: 10595458
Abstract: A powered hand-held spreader device is disclosed that has a handle that allows a user to grip and hold the device with one hand. The spreader includes an adjustable shutter, controlled by a rotary dial, to allow for distribution of a range of different granular products that require different flow rates for distribution. The granular product is contained in a hopper. The product can be distributed over various types of terrain, including, but not limited to, lawns, gardens, and paths. The spreader is driven by an electric motor actuated by a trigger. A spinning rotor plate distributes the granular product fed from the hopper. A trigger lock is optionally available to lock the trigger in the “on” position during use and to prevent actuation when the trigger is in the “off” position. An adjustable side deflector optionally can be used to control the distribution pattern of the granular product.

  • Patent number: 10556246
Abstract: The liquid ejecting device uses pressurized gas to eject liquid as a spray of fine particles and is provided with internal gas-flow passageway to supply pressurized gas, and a nozzle section with a slit-shaped liquid ejecting opening to discharge liquid. The nozzle section is near the end of the an elongated main unit of the liquid ejecting device, and gas jet openings to discharge pressurized gas are established between inclined nozzle surfaces and sidewalls of the main unit. The liquid ejecting opening is connected with liquid-flow passageway and the gas jet openings are connected with the gas-flow passageway. Viewed in cross-section, the inclined nozzle surfaces are formed such that their extensions intersect above the liquid ejecting opening on a line extending from the liquid ejecting opening, and pressurized gas is discharged as jets along the inclined nozzle surfaces to intersect in a manner that sandwiches the liquid in between and breaks-up the liquid-flow to produce a spray of fine particles.
