  • Patent number: 11646832
Abstract: Described are embodiments for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback information. In one embodiment, a wireless device receives a first downlink control information (DCI) indicating a first slot for transmission of uplink control information (UCI) comprising the HARQ feedback information. The wireless device receives a second DCI scheduling a plurality of physical uplink channels (PUSCHs) in a plurality of consecutive slots comprising the first slot. The wireless device multiplexes the UCI in a first PUSCH, of the plurality of PUSCHs, in the first slot. In response to a failed listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure for the first slot, the wireless device determines a second slot associated with a second PUSCH of the plurality of PUSCHs, and transmits, in response to a successful LBT procedure for the second slot, the UCI via the second PUSCH.

  • Patent number: 11637754
Abstract: A set of first candidate topologies of first candidate roadside infrastructure nodes at respective mounting locations in a geographic area is randomly generated. For each of the first candidate topologies, first simulations, including detection of objects according to selected sensor parameters, installation parameters, and environment parameters for the candidate nodes at the respective mounting locations, are executed. First fitness scores are determined for each of the first candidate topologies by comparing results of the first simulations to ground truth data. Upon identifying one of the first fitness scores as exceeding a threshold, the candidate topology associated with the identified first fitness score is identified for deployment.

  • Patent number: 11627636
Abstract: A wireless communication network exchanges data communication over Session Communication Proxies (SCPs). In the wireless network, the SCPs determine and transfer location information and status data to a Network Repository Function (NRF). The NRF receives the location information and status data and prioritizes the SCPs based on the location information and the status data. A requesting Network Function (NF) transfers an NF request to the NRF. The NRF receives the NF request from the requesting NF. In response, the NRF generates and transfers a list that prioritizes the SCPs based on the location information and the status data to the requesting NF. The requesting NF selects one of the SCPs based on the location information and the status data and transfers NF data to the selected one of the SCPs. The selected one of the SCPs forwards the NF data to a target NF.

  • Patent number: 11616593
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to enabling and disabling of codewords in multi-subframe grants. In particular, dynamic and subframe based enabling/disabling of codewords is enabled even if other control parameters including the resource allocation is performed for multiple subframes. For instance, signal from a scheduling entity to a scheduled entity comprises control information including the resource grant common for multiple subframes and a plurality of codewords for each subframe, and a codeword indication indicating enabling or disabling of one or more codewords for each of the multiple subframes. For each subframe it is determined whether a codeword from the plurality of codewords in said subframes is enabled or disabled according to the codeword indication and/or which codeword is enabled or disabled. The indication of enabling and disabling may alternatively be done by using modulation and coding scheme indicator values which are not associated with a particular modulation and coding scheme.

  • Patent number: 11589417
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for indicating a range for which HARQ feedback is to be transmitted for sidelink V2X communications. A TX UE receives from a gNB an RRC message with an IE that describes a communication range. The communication range is used by a RX UE when the TX UE transmits a groupcast PSSCH and PSCCH to the RX UE to determine whether or not to send HARQ feedback in response to the TX UE transmission. The RX UE receives the communication range from the gNB or the TX UE signals the communication range in the SCI of the PSCCH. If the TX UE sends a TB in which multiple DRBs with different communication ranges are used for the PDU, the SCI indicates that either the maximum or minimum communication range is to be used.
