  • Patent number: 7238406
Abstract: A template assembly for use in the production of a variable depth building wall surface, which may be simulative of multiple units separated by mortar joints, such as a simulated brick, stone, tile, or mosaic surface. The template assembly is formed of a backing sheet which is releasably attached to a substrate formed of nonwoven spunbond polyester material, which may be fiberglass reinforced. The substrate is a unitary sheet having a plurality of upwardly extending strips connected by a plurality of sidewardly extending strips. The strips define a plurality of openings within which simulated building units may be formed. A first layer is applied to a wall surface, the template backing is removed and the template adhered to the first layer, and then a second layer is applied over the template. When the template is removed, those areas corresponding to the template strips will be recessed from the second layer.

  • Patent number: 7234781
Abstract: An anchoring fixture for stools capable of adjusting elevation is installed on an axle hub hinged on the top end of tripod legs which rest on the floor. The axle hub has a longitudinal axle hole to hold a screw post fastened to the bottom of a stool. The axle hub has a hinge portion on one side of the top surface. The hinge portion has lugs on two sides to be coupled with one end of two clamping members. The clamping members have another end to be fastened by a fastening element. The hinge portion and the two clamping members have respectively a thread portion which jointly mates and couples with the screw post beneath the stool. Thus the elevation of the stool may be rapidly adjusted upwards and downwards to clamp the screw post tightly.

  • Patent number: 7234282
Abstract: A modular tower assembly for use with blown film extrusion processes, where modular tower sections each having identical columns/foot prints can be stacked on top of one another. Each module can have rectangular type platforms with walk decks about a central rectangular void middle. Staircases can be built into the side of all decks modules up to the top deck. Each of the four vertical legs of the deck modules has flat plate bottoms to stack on the deck surface of the module beneath, and side cross bracing. Side extension platform deck wings with legs can be used when the central rectangular void is enlarged. The modules can be pre-formed and brought onsite to be erected in a rapid assembly manner by fasteners such as bolts, and be removable as compared to permanent type welded towers. • Patent number: 7225589
Abstract: Presented is an anchor bolt placement and protection device to facilitate setting of anchor bolts in concrete to facilitate placement of a mud sill. It is important that the anchor bolts that secure a mud sill to a foundation be properly spaced from the outside edge of the foundation. In one embodiment there is provided a device having a tubular projection open at one end to receive the threaded end of an anchor bolt. Projecting integrally from the bottom open end of the tubular projection are two lateral projections. One is adapted to place an anchor bolt when a 2×4 mud sill is used. The second projection positions the anchor bolt at the proper distance to receive a 2×6 mud sill. A second embodiment is provided with a single lateral projection extending perpendicularly from the open bottom end of the tubular projection. The top surface of the lateral extension is provided with cross-ribs and indicia that indicate the proper placement of either a 2×4 or 2×6 mud sill.

  • Patent number: 7226026
Abstract: A suction device includes a suction cup having a peg extending therefrom and a transverse shaft extending in opposite directions from the peg, an inner cap positioned on the suction cup and retaining a spring that applies a restoring force to the suction cup, and an outer cap positioned on the inner cap and defining inclined slots in which the opposite ends of the shaft are movably received, respectively. By rotating the outer cap with respect to the inner cap causes camming action between each inclined slot and the respective end of the shaft, which in turn imposes a driving force on the peg to deform the suction cup thereby inducing a suction force. An elongate flexible member has a first end coupled to the inner cap and an opposite second end rotatably supporting an article receptacle in which an article, such as mobile phone and a personal digital assistant can be received and retained.
