Abstract: A share display in a multimedia collaboration system includes a desktop region and a nonoverlapping task bar region. A collaboration program is configured to allow the desktop region to be shared with remote multimedia collaboration devices for the purposes of collaboration, but allows control functionality that the sharer does not wish to share to reside in the task bar region. The task bar region is then prevented from being shared with the remote multimedia collaboration device.

Abstract: An image sharing method and a terminal device is provided. The image sharing method of the present invention includes: obtaining an image selected from a gallery by a user, and using the image as a to-be-shared image, where a quantity of the to-be-shared images is greater than a single-time maximum shareable-photo quantity allowed by a target sharing platform; and performing synthesis processing on at least two images of the to-be-shared images to obtain a processed to-be-shared image, where a quantity of the processed to-be-shared images is less than or equal to the single-time maximum shareable-photo quantity allowed by the target sharing platform.

Abstract: A user computing device may receive a command from a user to modify an object of a canvas. The received command may be accepted and the user computing device may perform one or more operations on the object of the canvas according to the command, such as modifying a mutable attribute. The canvas state may then be captured by the computing device using one or more patches. The computing device may generate and store one or more snapshots to include a subset of the one or more patches and further provide the one or more snapshots to playback a sequence of at least some of the one or more operations that were performed on the object of the canvas.

Abstract: Provided are techniques for exploration and navigation of a content collection. A first window and a second window are created within the user interface displayed on the electronic display. A node graph visualization is displayed in the first window, wherein the node graph visualization comprises nodes representing individual content elements within the content, and wherein the nodes are clustered in proximity to each other according to topics associated with the individual content elements. A text-based topic visualization is displayed in the second window, wherein the text-based topic visualization comprises text elements representing topics associated with the individual content elements within the content. Selection is received of one or more text elements. Highlighting and zooming in is performed on a subset of nodes representing individual content elements associated with a union of the one or more text elements selected corresponding to the one or more topics of interest.

Abstract: A computing device stores data defining a hierarchical navigation tree. For each respective user interface (UI) plugin of a plurality of UI plugins the device receives metadata for the respective UI plugin. The metadata for the respective UI plugin comprises a respective path descriptor for the respective UI plugin. For each respective node identified in the respective path descriptor for the respective UI plugin, the device marks the respective node identified by the respective path element as being active. The device outputs a UI for display. The UI comprises a pruned representation of the hierarchical navigation tree. For each respective node of a plurality of nodes in the hierarchical navigation tree, the pruned representation of the hierarchical navigation tree includes a label of the respective node in response to determining the respective node is marked as active. The UI may be a single-pane-of-glass interface that comprises nodes associated with separately developed UI plugins.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for executing at least one application by a display device having a touch screen. An application execution method according to the present invention may include the steps of: displaying a window for executing an application in each of a plurality of areas arranged on a touch screen; displaying a button on at least one boundary line dividing the plurality of areas; receiving an input for selecting the button; and displaying, in a predetermined area, on the basis of the received input, a list of at least one application executed in the predetermined area among the plurality of areas.

Abstract: A mobile device and controlling method thereof are disclosed, by which user's convenience is enhanced. The present invention includes the steps of if receiving a specific input from a user, displaying a screen capable of selecting either a gallery application and a camera application, if receiving a selection input from the user, running a specific application corresponding to the selection input, displaying a preview screen of the specific application, and if receiving a specific touch input from the user, adjusting at least one of a size and position of the preview screen.

Abstract: A monitoring component installed in a network navigation interface, such as an Internet browser, is disclosed. The monitoring component monitors activity of a user performed via the network navigation interface among one or more network resources, such as e-commerce sites, blogs, media hosting sites, and social networking sites. The monitoring component further enables the user to selected at least one monitored activity to be shared with contacts known to the user. An activity service is provided that notifies the contacts of the selected activity and generates recommendations for the user based on the activities reported by the monitoring component. In this manner, users may share activities of interest with their contacts, as well obtain recommendations about items of possible interest.

Based on a size of the content item, a scroll bar can be generated, within the interface, for scrolling the content item. Based on a size of the viewable area, a scroll element can be generated, within the scroll bar, to be movable based on user interactions to scroll the content item. In some cases, at least a first portion of the content item can be automatically scrolled through such that the viewable area displays, over time, at least a second portion of the content item. In some cases, a leftmost or rightmost edge of the content item is displayable via the viewable area. A transitional animation associated with the leftmost or rightmost edge can be performed.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a sequence of video clips are provided. A user input identifying a source of video is received. Responsive to the user input, a plurality of future videos provided by the source that is unavailable to the user at a time when the user input was received is identified. A sequence of video clips associated with the identified plurality of future videos is generated.

Abstract: A watch-type terminal includes a display and a wireless communication unit configured to communicate with an external terminal. The watch-type terminal also includes a controller that is configured to receive information related to an event that occurs in the external terminal, and determine, based on the received information, a priority level of the event that occurs in the external terminal. The controller is also configured to determine, based on the received information, a notification icon regarding the event that occurs in the external terminal, and adjust, based on the priority level of the event, a size of the notification icon. The controller is further configured to display, on the display of the watch-type terminal, the notification icon with the adjusted size.

Abstract: In a client-server system where a client system presents a browser for user interaction, a browser user interface includes functionality for handling dynamic interface elements received by the browser in connection with received pages, presented as part of the browser user interface and modified in response to selected user input without requiring further interaction with a server. In addition to, or in place of, dynamic interface elements such as slide sheets, the browser user interface might also include a rotation display area, tool displays that can overlay a page, opaquely or semi-transparently, menu structures, and an ability for the user to modify a page layout without requiring server interaction.

Abstract: An electronic device for layout guidance for localization purposes includes a processor which receives information on a textual element in a source language. The textual element is within a graphical presentation having upper limits in at least a first dimension and a second dimension. The processor determines a space requirement in the first dimension and/or the second dimension for the textual element in a target language, based on the received information on the textual element in the source language and on statistical data related to the source language and the target language and their respective spatial requirements. The processor causes layout guidance to be displayed on a display for the textual element in the target language based on the determined space requirement.

The method includes displaying an application execution screen, collecting and storing information through an electronic pen in the application execution screen, and generating and displaying a diary from the stored information when it is a predetermined time. Therefore, a diary is automatically generated, and thus convenience can be improved.

Abstract: System and method for preventing undesirable smart device communications. A system includes memory for storing a list of contacts, the memory integrated into a smart device; and a locking application configured to permit a user to select and lock one or more contacts included within said list of contacts such that the user is unable to communicate with the selected one or more contacts via said smart device. The locking application may be further configured to permit a user to select a pre-established time period during which the one or more selected contacts remain locked. Challenges may be presented to the user to unlock the contacts in advance of the lockout time expiring. Optional features include GPS tracking, rewards, ride and networking modules.
