Abstract: An apparatus is provided for loading an electronic device, e.g., a populated GPU board, onto a device tray, e.g., a GPU tray, where the electronic device is cumbersome and the device tray presents obstacles that prevent simply lowering the device into the tray. The apparatus includes a dolly and a base, the base configured to position the dolly against the device tray so that the dolly, carrying the board, may slide the device into position and then be removed from beneath the device.

Abstract: Provided is an expansion card installation module including an expansion-card bracket, an operating element, a stopper, and a driving component. The operating element is pivoted on the expansion-card bracket. The stopper is slidably disposed on the expansion-card bracket and is located at a stop position or a non-stop position. The stopper at the stop position is adapted to stop an expansion card in the expansion-card bracket, and the stopper at the non-stop position releases the expansion card, such that the expansion card is allowed to be removed from the expansion-card bracket. The driving component is movably disposed on the expansion-card bracket. The operating element is adapted to push against the stopper to move the stopper from the stop position to the non-stop position, and the driving component is adapted to position the stopper at the non-stop position. A server is also provided.

Abstract: A latching apparatus has a first component and a second component. The first component is made of a first material and includes a distal end, a proximal end, and an indention between the distal end the proximal end. The distal end includes a mating tab, whereas the proximal end includes a flange member for fixing the first component to a lid of a housing. The second component is made of a second material and is coupled to the mating tab. The second component includes a receiving element for engaging with a securing element of the housing. The latching element includes a pressing region formed in one of the first component and the second component between the indention and the receiving element. The first material has a higher flexibility that the second material.

Abstract: A combination mounting bracket for an information handling system includes a main bracket and an adjustable bracket. The main bracket is securely mounted on a display device of the information handling system. The adjustable bracket includes a mounting surface and multiple standoffs. The mounting surface is configured to be placed in physical communication with a stand for the display device. The standoffs are in physical communication with the mounting surface and with the main bracket. The standoffs are configured to transition between an extended position and a compressed position.

Abstract: A fiber optic node includes an electronics equipment enclosure. The electronics equipment enclosure includes a lid and a base defining an overall interior space of the electronics equipment enclosure. The lid includes a lid top and a lid mating surface to contact and overlap a base mating surface of the base to close the electronics equipment enclosure. The lid further includes at least one lid side wall extending away from the lid top. The at least one lid side wall includes at least one protruding lid side wall extending outwards to project beyond the lid mating surface. The base includes a base bottom and at least one base side wall extending away from the base bottom. The base further includes a base mating surface to contact and overlap the lid mating surface of the lid to close the electronics equipment enclosure.

Abstract: A module is retained in a slot of an electronics chassis. A clearance space is provided for receiving the module in a slot of the electronics chassis by controlling an internal pressure of a bellows. The bellows forms a part of a retainer that is disposed on an elongated rail extending along a length of the slot. The bellows defines an internal bellows capsule which contains a fluid. Once the module has been inserted in the slot, the module is secured with the retainer by further controlling the internal pressure of the bellows to exert a force on the module.

Abstract: A server information handling system couples to a rack and is secured with a security device coupled to one side of the information handling system housing clear of the front side of the information handling system so that the entire front side of the housing is available for venting and/or interface devices like a power switch and ports. The security device has a latch that moves vertically in response to an outward and upward pull on a lever engaged with the latch. The latch secures and releases the housing to the server rack, such as at the rail holding the housing in the rack, and releases a pin from a slot of a bezel that covers a front face of the server information handling system. The pin moves vertically in a channel of the latch and is biased to a locked position so that insertion of the server bezel onto the housing will lock the bezel with the pin while the lever remains in a locked position.

Abstract: A suspendable assembly for fixing and holding a server includes a housing, a torsion spring, a limiting frame, a handle, and a shaft. The housing includes a first through hole. The torsion spring is fixed on the housing. The limiting frame clamps the torsion spring. The handle is fixed with the limiting frame, the handle comprising a first hook. The shaft penetrates through the housing, the torsion spring, the handle, and the limiting frame. The first hook is configured to engaged with a second hook to limit the suspendable assembly.

Abstract: A server containing hard disk modules which can be slid into place and which allow connection at the front and at the rear of a housing. The server includes the housing which defines an opening, the hard disk modules, and a plurality of trays. Receiving channels communicating with the opening are defined in the housing, the receiving channels are isolated and arranged side by side and each channel can receive one tray. A hard disk module is positioned in one tray, a front end and a rear end of the housing defines front connection port and rear connection port for cable connections to each hard disk module.

Abstract: A drive carrier for retaining a persistent storage drive in an enclosure. The drive carrier includes a mounting bracket, a handle coupled to the mounting bracket, and an electromagnetic interference (“EMI”) shielding apparatus disposed between mounting bracket and at least a portion of the handle. The mounting bracket is shaped to be coupled to the persistent storage drive. The EMI-shielding apparatus includes a plurality of EMI-shielding fingers. Abstract: A visual display stand is shown and described. The display stand comprises a thin aluminum member that slopes downward and away from a display to which it is attached to a horizontal base section that rests on a support surface. The horizontal base is spaced apart from the screen in a direction away from the rear of the display. A rear support member is also provided but is concealed from view when looking at the screen side of the display. As a result, when the stand is attached to display and viewed from the front, it gives a gravity defying appearance because it appears that the weight of the monitor should cause the stand to tip over. Alternatively, the second member may be removed, and the display may rest against a wall.
