  • Patent number: 11883157
Abstract: A method is provided for detecting an undesirable event or condition in a patient. The method may comprise receiving a first input signal from an UWB radar configured to monitor an environment occupied by the patient and including information representative of the patient's motion. Data derived from the first input signal is processed using a pattern recognition model to detect and classify patterns in the data derived from the first input signal as indicative or predictive of an undesirable event or condition involving the patient. When a pattern is classified as indicative or predictive of an undesirable event or condition in the patient an alarm is issued. A log of data derived from the first input signal and associated with a detection of a pattern classified as indicative or predictive of an undesirable event enables further machine learning in order to create an updated pattern recognition model based on individual patient behavior.

  • Patent number: 11831432
Abstract: A method to provide flexibility on the configuration and operation of the modulator, demodulator, and modem, where purpose-built (legacy) devices are not traditionally capable of exposing a level of control and flexibly for a user or an autonomous program for optimizing performance. Providing user or programmatic control of algorithms is traditionally not possible for purpose-built modems. Parameters such as the number of decoder iterations that are performed on Forward Error Correction (FEC), Interference Mitigation algorithm, or dynamic adjustment loop bandwidth to combat phase noise can be adjusted autonomously to optimize receiver performance. The all software modem, supported by a High-Performance Computing (HPC) architecture, removes the limitation due to the flexibility of programming resources and available performance.

  • Patent number: 11813091
Abstract: Systems and methods are directed to animating subtle physiological processes directly on avatars and photos. That is, physiologically-grounded spatial, color space, and temporal modifications may be made to the appearance of an avatar to simulate a physiological characteristic, such as blood flow. More specifically, a frame of a video sequence and a physiological signal may be received. An attention mask may be generated based on the received physiological signal, where the attention mask includes attention weights indicative of a strength of the physiological signal for differing portions of the frame of the video sequence. Accordingly, a pixel adjustment value based on the physiological signal and the attention mask may be generated and applied to an identified pixel in the frame of the video sequence.
