  • Patent number: 9348935
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for delivering related video content to a user in response to user actions on augmented keywords on a web page. A server may receive from a browser, in response to an indication of a mouse over a keyword currently displayed on a web page of a client, a keyword identified for augmentation via a user interface overlay. The server may identify, responsive to receiving the keyword, a plurality of videos related to the keyword. A content relevancy engine may determine an order of relevance of the plurality of videos to the keyword. The server may transmit to the client, within a predetermined time period from the indication, the user interface overlay to include a selected one or more videos of the plurality of videos with a higher order of relevance.

  • Patent number: 9323794
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and system for accelerating the generation of pattern indexes. In exemplary embodiments, regular expression pattern matching can be performed at high speeds on data to determine whether a pattern is present in the data. Pattern indexes can then be built based on the results of such regular expression pattern matching. Reconfigurable logic such a field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) can be used to hardware accelerate these operations.

  • Patent number: 9317965
Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, article of manufacture, and computer readable medium provide the ability to create a point cloud indexed file. A grid (of cells that are divided into subcells) is mapped over points in a point cloud dataset. An occupancy value, that indicates whether a subcell contains a point, is computed for each subcell. A surface area contribution factor is computed for each cell and identifies a count of subcells that are occupied divided by a total number of subcells. The surface area contribution factor for each cell and points for each cell are written to the point cloud indexed file.

  • Patent number: 9317709
Abstract: A cloud storage system provides remote access to a file associated with the cloud storage system. In response to a request to access the file, the cloud storage system identifies applications available to the request generator and capable of accessing the file, which may include both online web-based applications and applications installed on a device with which the user is accessing the file. The cloud storage system determines an application type of an identified application, and provides file access to the identified application based on the application type.

  • Patent number: 9311287
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable medium for providing translated web content with translated URLs. A request is received content in a second language translated from content in a first language. The content in the first language is obtained from the first Internet source. One or more links are identified from the content in the first language. Each original URL is divided into one or more translatable URL components in the first language. Whether the one or more translatable URL components in each original URL have been previously translated into the second language and stored as translated URL components is determined. If there is at least one translatable URL component previously translated and stored as a corresponding translated URL component, a translated URL in the second language for each original URL is generated. The content in the second language with translated URLs is created.

  • Patent number: 9292567
Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with bulk matching with update functionality are described. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a first new record for matching with other records. The method includes querying a database that stores respective single best records (SBR) for respective sets of matching records to return SBR information. The first new record is matched to the other records by comparing the first new record to the SBR information to identify an SBR that matches the first new record. The first new record is associated with the identified SBR in the database.

  • Patent number: 9286320
Abstract: A method for maintaining consistency among metadata elements (MDEs) of a logical object, includes: configuring a child MDE to include a correlation value uniquely indicative of a parent MDE. The parent MDE includes a reference to the child MDE; determining an order of performing at least two write operations included in a transaction related to the logical object: at least one write operation with respect to the parent MDE and at least one write operation with respect to the child MDE; the determined order assures that the child MDE is indicated as existing and includes the first correlation value, as long as the parent MDE exists; upon a first access to the parent MDE, subsequent to the transaction, verifying consistency between the parent MDE and the child MDE, using the first correlation value; and deleting the parent MDE if the verifying of consistency is unsuccessful.
