Abstract: A cosmetic applicator for applying a product including a cosmetic, care or pharmaceutical composition onto the keratinous substrate such as skin, lips, under eyes, eyelids, cheeks, or any other part of the body. The cosmetic applicator includes an applicator head having an applying member and a shank portion. The applying member includes a stiffness modifying portion to modify the resistance of the applying member to deflection in a transverse direction. In one embodiment the applying member comprises a first application face and a second application face. The stiffness modifying portion comprises a hinge formed between the shank portion and the applying member. The hinge is limited to a single zone in a circumference of the applicator head to provide flexibility to the applying member giving user the feeling that the applying member is very soft and resilient. According to another embodiment the applying member comprises a planar spatula member with a first face and an opposite second face.

Abstract: A toilet includes an inlet structure, a bowl structure, and an outlet structure. The inlet structure is configured to receive water. The bowl structure has a toilet bowl including a rim and a sump, a split fluidly connected to the inlet structure and including a first passage and a second passage, a shelf located below the rim of the toilet bowl and fluidly connected to the first passage, a side channel fluidly connected to the second passage, and a diverter that redirects the water from the side channel to the sump of the toilet bowl. The outlet structure is fluidly connected to the sump and is configured to discharge water from the sump into a drain.

Abstract: The invention provides a system for refilling of used markers. The system comprises at least one round plate (1) mounted on a supporting platform, at least one ink reservoir (2) adapted to store ink and positioned at the center of the round plate (1) and one entry hole (3) on the ink reservoir (2) adapted to hold a nib of a marker (6). The round plate (1) of the system is mounted on a motor adapted to rotate the round plate (1) at high speed in a circular motion to dispense ink from the ink reservoir (2) by centrifugal force via the entry hole (3) to refill the marker (6) through the nib.

The release component may include a water-dissolvable matrix comprising a first polymer having a processing temperature greater than or equal to 150° C. A method of forming an oral care implement which includes injection molding a composition comprising a graft polymer onto a head of an oral care implement at a temperature equal to or greater than 130° C. to form a water-dissolvable polymer matrix.

Abstract: A hands-free flushing device and method of using same to allow a user to flush a toilet with their foot instead of their hands, thereby avoiding the spread of germs and bacteria. The hands-free flushing device is removably attached to the toilet flush handle of an existing toilet with little to no modification, allowing for easy installation. An embodiment of the hands-free flushing device comprises a foot pedal configured to suspend above the floor which allows for easy cleaning and avoids of the transmission of germs and bacteria.

Abstract: A toilet overflow prevention assembly for capturing overflowing water from a toilet includes a collar that is comprised of a flexible material. The collar can be positionable around a bowl of a toilet thereby facilitating the collar to capture water overflowing from the bowl. Additionally, the collar is comprised of a fluid impermeable material to inhibit the water from passing therethrough. A drain is integrated into the collar to drain the water outwardly therefrom. A closure is hingedly coupled to the collar and the closure is positionable in a locked position when the collar is positioned in the closed position for retaining the collar in the closed position.

Abstract: A semi-hidden system for the water flushing handle of toilets that forces the user to lower the lid or lid and seat before activating the flushing of the cistern. The flushing handle is embedded in the front wall of the cistern in such a way that a portion of the handle is covered by the lid of the toilet when the lid is raised, forcing users to close the lid in order to be able to flush, and thus substantially reducing the emission of infectious and polluting bioaerosols. The system aims to contribute to preventive medicine and to improve health worldwide by avoiding contagion of diseases. The toilet lid and seat, which combine with the semi-hidden flushing system, complement the innovative system with fast soft-closing hinges. This invention can be used in public restrooms, homes, hospitals, hotels, schools, and other environments where sanitation is a high priority.
